Relax with the whole family at awesome home just steps from the sand. Beach is open and easy to access-just head out the front door and walk 30 seconds to the East and you have toes in the sand! Comfy new furniture. This property is Pet Friendly with pre-approval and Pet Fee of $25/per pet per day paid prior to arrival. Early Check in/Late Checkout $25 per hour. Please reach out to the host for availability.
Located in a cute beach neighborhood with private access to the beach, let the kids run and play while soaking in the sun. Enjoy this 3 bedroom, 2 bath home nestled in the quaint surfing village of Ormond by the Sea, FL. Enjoy the ocean view from the living room or fully-stocked kitchen. One car garage, wifi, and close to dining and shopping. 20 minute drive to Flagler Beach or Daytona Beach, just over an hour to Orlando or Cape Canaveral-or you can enjoy rocket launches right from our beach! No hurricane damage.
**Nearby Jet Ski, Beach Equipment and Watersport facilities and activity rentals are available in our area. However these are not directly provided by Salty Dog Vacations.**
Damage Waiver Disclaimer:
I. AGREEMENT
On behalf of Salty Dog Vacations, LLC, the party authorized to rent the vacation rental property and the owner of the vacation rental property, Waivo has assumed the responsibility for damages as outlined below and waives Your security deposit up to $2,500, the waiver limit purchased by You, the renter, for your stay at the vacation rental property.
Waivo is hereby responsible for theft or direct damage to real or personal property of the vacation rental property as a result of Your acts or omissions. Waivo will pay the lesser of the cost of repairs or the cost to replace the property up to $2,500. This waiver does not negate your responsibilities as a renter for items outside of Waivo’s responsibilities.
This is not an agreement to provide insurance. You are buying a waiver of the security deposit otherwise due as part of Your vacation rental property lease agreement.
II. EXCLUSIONS
This Security Deposit Waiver will not pay for damages or theft resulting from:
1. Acts of God
2. Prior damage, cosmetic damage, or normal wear and tear
3. Theft without a valid police report if over $250
4. Loss of use of the vacation rental property
5. Rodent, termite, infestation, or wild animal
6. Damage to a motorized vehicle
7. Fine art, collectibles, or sets of items
This Waiver will not pay for damage or theft of property owned by You.
This Waiver will not pay for costs associated with odor, debris removal, backups of sewers and drains, landscaping, marring, maintenance, or mechanical breakdown.
III. CONDITIONS
Waivo has the sole authority to determine the nature and extent of damages, necessary repairs, and eligibility for the waiver, and shall exercise that authority in a reasonable manner.
Waivo reserves the right to determine if damage is eligible for reimbursement at actual cash value.
This Waiver will pay for excessive cleaning, as a direct result of damage, over and above the normal cleaning fee. An irreparable stain or spillage is considered damage.
This Waiver is only effective for a one-time single continuous stay, of up to 90 days, for which You purchased the Waiver. It takes effect when You occupy the vacation rental property and terminates when You depart the same vacation rental property.
This Waiver is only effective if any theft or damage is reported to Waivo by You, the property manager, the online travel agent or the owner of the vacation rental property within 14 days of Your departure from the vacation rental property.
Waivo will not respond to damage or theft under $50 US dollars.
If there is a dispute related to these terms, mediation is required before any party may file litigation. In the event of litigation, all parties waive the right to a jury trial.
IV. DEFINITIONS
You, or Your, is the renter of the vacation rental property and includes the renter’s spouse, children and any other person the renter invited on to the vacation rental property during your stay at the vacation rental property.

This was perfect for what we needed. Steps from the beach. While the place is located in Ormond Beach area it is on a private street with 7 other houses. We were visiting family and needed a few days at the Beach before we had to head home. This was perfect. Close to family. On a private street with a 3 second walk to the beach. The beach was perfect and not as busy as other parts of Daytona and Ormond Beach. The house was nice and clean. We will definitely look for the opportunity to stay again.Michael E - Posted: 4/19/2026

Dealing with the coldest weather in decades made my Florida stay a little different than anticipated, but the Salty Dog crew was always responsive and helpful. The place is lovely and quiet, clean and uncluttered, and located perfectly for what I was there to do - attend the Last Class of the fabled Harry Wendelstedt Umpire School - as well as take some nice relaxing walks along the beach, which was only a sixty-second stroll away at the end of the street we were on. Can’t say enough positive things about Salty and crew! A HUGE thank-you for our extended stay in a place that felt safe and welcoming to come back to after long days in the classroom and on the baseball diamond. We enjoyed our stay. It was a perfect location with a short walk to the beach. The beds were comfortable and the living room furniture had recently been replaced. I would recommend bringing your own beach chairs since the chairs that were there are bag chairs and not very comfortable. Beach towels are provided but you need to be careful to not leave any stains on any of the linens or you will incur an additional charge. We would have liked to have been able to enter through the garage area but there is not a working outside garage door openerbso you have to enter through the front door. We love this house we’ve stayed 3 times at this house but the furniture is broken the sofa and the loveseat they sit awful and need replaced and the beds sink you to the middle and the headboard in the smaller room needs cleaned or replaced it’s dirty. It’s a great location and the house is always clean it just needs some updates in the furniture department, we will definitely stay again. Great place to stay
Stayed here for 7 nights with our dog and it couldn’t have been better. You can see the ocean from the living area, walk right to the beach and within walking distance of restaurants and super market. Salty Dog - Ormand by the Sea
We really enjoyed our stay. It was very close to the beach which was uncrowded; had less than 5 families when we were there. Very close to Publix. We had a few issues like ice maker but the Manager was very quick to respond. It was a little hard to get on the main road.Vicki H - Posted: 4/28/2025

Good supply of beach chairs, towels and a cart to carry it all. Communication with host was excellent. The location is on a private drive off of A1A, a very busy road. My family of 6 had a great time with our stay at this property. The view from the picture window in the livingroom and the very short walk to the beach is what made this property exceptional for us! The host is easy to reach and very responsive. We had an issue with the digital lock during our stay and they mitigated the issue fast. We loved it so much, we stayed an extra night. Easy to bring down chairs and fishing gear. Accommodation: enough space for everyone in our party (4 adults and 1 baby). Also plenty amenities (Washer and Dryer were wonderful to have in the house) and even games for evening entertainment. The big window facing East was great to watch the sunrise and ocean. The place was extremely clean, except for a shower curtain which the host properly sent someone out with a replacement its a beautiful house and clean, well kept two steps down to sand. The only thing I can say, is some porch furniture would be nice maybe a couple of rocking chairs to just enjoy the beautiful scenery From your porch and some lights in the backyard so when you take your little doggie for a walk, you can actually see but other than that this place was wonderful highly recommendLisa J - Posted: 2/26/2024
