Nestled between Flagler Beach and St. Augustine, the home offers a private, dog-friendly stretch of beach with a serene coastal vibe. Sip your morning coffee while watching the sunrise, and unwind with a cocktail as the sun sets over the dunes.

You’ll love being just minutes from The Hammock, where you’ll find world-class golf, tennis, and pickleball surrounded by lush coastal scenery. Whether you’re here to play, relax, or explore, everything you need for the perfect beach vacation is right at your doorstep.

🐾 Pets welcome in the south-side unit with a $25 per pet, per day fee (must be paid prior to arrival).

🚗 Please drive slowly (5 mph) on the private road — neighbors have children and pets.

Damage Waiver Disclaimer:

I. AGREEMENT

On behalf of Salty Dog Vacations, LLC, the party authorized to rent the vacation rental property and the owner of the vacation rental property, Waivo has assumed the responsibility for damages as outlined below and waives Your security deposit up to $2,500, the waiver limit purchased by You, the renter, for your stay at the vacation rental property.

Waivo is hereby responsible for theft or direct damage to real or personal property of the vacation rental property as a result of Your acts or omissions. Waivo will pay the lesser of the cost of repairs or the cost to replace the property up to $2,500. This waiver does not negate your responsibilities as a renter for items outside of Waivo’s responsibilities.

This is not an agreement to provide insurance. You are buying a waiver of the security deposit otherwise due as part of Your vacation rental property lease agreement.

II. EXCLUSIONS

This Security Deposit Waiver will not pay for damages or theft resulting from:

1. Acts of God

2. Prior damage, cosmetic damage, or normal wear and tear

3. Theft without a valid police report if over $250

4. Loss of use of the vacation rental property

5. Rodent, termite, infestation, or wild animal

6. Damage to a motorized vehicle

7. Fine art, collectibles, or sets of items

This Waiver will not pay for damage or theft of property owned by You.

This Waiver will not pay for costs associated with odor, debris removal, backups of sewers and drains, landscaping, marring, maintenance, or mechanical breakdown.

III. CONDITIONS

Waivo has the sole authority to determine the nature and extent of damages, necessary repairs, and eligibility for the waiver, and shall exercise that authority in a reasonable manner.

Waivo reserves the right to determine if damage is eligible for reimbursement at actual cash value.

This Waiver will pay for excessive cleaning, as a direct result of damage, over and above the normal cleaning fee. An irreparable stain or spillage is considered damage.

This Waiver is only effective for a one-time single continuous stay, of up to 90 days, for which You purchased the Waiver. It takes effect when You occupy the vacation rental property and terminates when You depart the same vacation rental property.

This Waiver is only effective if any theft or damage is reported to Waivo by You, the property manager, the online travel agent or the owner of the vacation rental property within 14 days of Your departure from the vacation rental property.

Waivo will not respond to damage or theft under $50 US dollars.

If there is a dispute related to these terms, mediation is required before any party may file litigation. In the event of litigation, all parties waive the right to a jury trial.

IV. DEFINITIONS

You, or Your, is the renter of the vacation rental property and includes the renter’s spouse, children and any other person the renter invited on to the vacation rental property during your stay at the vacation rental property.

Well, it's a nice location. The maintenance issues are significant from broken stairway railings to electrical wires hanging from ceiling, its old and very dated, needs updating. Garbage boxes were full when we arrived and stayed that way for a week. We reported that a large chimney cap blew off and was dangling high up on the roof, reported that it could fall and really hurt someone, several days later, no one came to fix. If not for the view, I would be harsher in my comments. never again, would I stay there. They blamed on hurricanes, and maybe that is true

The location was wonderful. We really enjoyed the beach. It was peaceful and quiet. The main issues we had was a leak in the ceiling and broken door handles on the sliding door. The leak was actively leaking and we had trouble getting them to send someone out. The plumber finally showed up at 9pm. He cut opened the ceiling t discover the problem. He them disconnected the toilet that was the issue. Then based on owners instructions left. Nothing more was done during our stay. The following day a maintenance person showed up to replace the door handles, he also removed the wet area rug that smelled bad(wet due to the leak)After i returned home, I saw a recent review that stated that they also had a leak, thus this leak had been on-going for some time. There was mold developing on the ceiling due to the leak and also near the air-conditioning vent mold was growing. There were afew other smaller issues that show they really need to do better upkeep.

Hi Sheila! Thank you for choosing to stay with us and we are so sorry for the issues you experienced during your stay. We did get a plumber out there as soon as possible the same day to stop the issue from getting worse. The extent of the repair that was needed to completely fix the issue would have required construction during your stay and our understanding was that you did not want that. Regardless, we appreciate you bringing the issues to our attention and have since repaired the toilet and leak. We apologize that it was not a five star stay for you but hope you had a fun time with your family.

Overall we had a great stay here! The house location directly on the beach can’t be beat! The place was clean and the beds were very comfortable! I think we would stay here again :) A few comments: - We did have a small issue that the rental company was willing to address right away, so not a huge deal. The listing said there was a gas grill on property, but all we found was a very small charcoal grill. The rental company offered to bring a gas one out to us, but as we already made other plans for dinner we declined. We were pleased with the effort though! - There are some obvious structural issues with the house. The floor dips in places and the windows/sliding doors don’t close all the way in some places. The a/c was struggling a bit, it was a little warm at night, but not bad enough to call someone out. It is right on the beach after all! - Overall, we felt safe and had a great time!

Family and I really enjoyed staying here. Right on the beach, many things to use for the beach, comfortable and homey vibe. Kid friendly! Just be careful with the jellyfish!

Great location
The location can’t be beat. Right on the beach and not crowded at all. 5 stars for location. When we booked, it had a hot tub listed but when we got there, the hot tub was no longer there. It also wasn’t clear when we originally booked that this is a duplex, so that was a bit of a surprise to us. It was a bit annoying having to go back and forth between the kitchens to get ingredients for things. Parking can be a challenge on the property as it is soft sand. We had a boat on a trailer and it was difficult to handle parking, but we made it work. There is a neighbor that is very strict about parking and will threaten to have your cars towed if you aren’t parked inside the property. The house inside was clean but definitely had some issues. For example, a glass shower door was held up by tape which had folks nervous that it would fall and break. The lights in a bathroom didn’t work, other outlets on the property don’t work, one of the showers had a clogged drain so you were standing in a few inches of water while showering. Lots of other little things like this through the house, but it’s a beach house, so expected. That said, the mgmt company had someone out to fix any issues we wanted fixed right away. They removed the glass shower door for us and fixed the lights in the bathroom. So they were very responsive with our requests. I do want to reiterate how amazing the location is which totally made up for some of these minor inconveniences above.

The views from this house are absolutely amazing. You're right on the beach. The setting is very private on a dead-end road. Very short drive to St. Augustin or Flagler. Both have amazing restaurants. Hammond Park is very close and has bicycle rentals. The house did not have a gas grill, but did have charcoal. The host is VERY responsive and professional. We used the fantastic Elite Concierge. at check-in, our groceries were already delivered and all put away like we just arrived home. It was amazing. I highly recommend using this! Will keep this on my list of places to return .

That being said, the place was fantastic, well stocked, well cleaned, and absolutely perfect location. The house sits almost on top of the dunes, extremely close to the water.

Great place for a large family
We were 11 in all. My wife and I and the four grandchildren stayed in half of the property, the parents stayed in the other. We got a lot of time with the kids while they got to sleep in. The beach was perfect for the kids. We were close to both Marineland and the Alligator Farm. The manager was very quick to replace the TV that stopped working.

The property has so many extra chairs, beach toys and umbrellas that we borrowed during our stay which was so nice. If you like to wake up and catch the sun rise, book this place. If you like having easy beach access where the beach is practically yours with no crowds, book this place. The water was great, no seaweed during my stay, our dogs would run freely during low tide. Grocery store down the street, a quick day trip to st. augustine is 35 mins away. You really can’t go wrong staying here. This is a rustic/chill/ old school beach house, there is room for improvement! It has its corks and dainty things but nothing that prevents me from coming back and staying here again.The vibes are immaculate! Definitely book this place if you can- you won’t regret it!

This is the perfect place to accommodate big groups/family! I stayed here for a full week with 13 family members and 3 pets! Great, amazing location! Plenty of space for our family of 14. Had 1 hiccup with a refrigerator but Salty Dog was quick with communication and it worked out just fine. Lots of beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrella for the beach. We had a wonderful time!

Great location, house is fun and comfortable, not so nice you worry about kids and swimming suits etc. Kitchen is VERY well supplied. Everything you need for the beach: umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards, skim boards, pails and shovels for sand castles. A terrific beach, ten minutes from a Publix grocery and a dolphin park. Lots of room and comfortable seating.... the deck facing the beach is a great gathering place at sunset.

Great spot for multi family!
We had a great trip! I have to be honest, when I saw no reviews on the property after I booked it, I got really freaked out that it might NOT look as it did in the listing... (I've heard horror stories of other VRBO renters in the past) It DOES! Its super cute. Like the description says, this place is quirky but we agree it contributes to the charm. We had both sides, and it was awesome to have 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms, so if/when we didn't all want to do the same thing we still had places to be. The hot tub in the deck was 100%! We were in it every day, and it was nice to have since the evenings were still cool (and even some of the days early in our week). It was a very private beach, so if you are interested in restaurants / activity, know you have a bit of a drive to get to Flagler. Its about 30 minutes to St Augustine, so I highly recommend that as a day trip! There were a few things the owner could address to tighten things up, but nothing that ended up a huge problem. Some of the cabinet doors in one unit were not on the hinges and the oven didn't work well on that side (so we just used the oven on the working side!). We had 12 people at one point and if we didn't stagger showers, the hot water ran low. The outdoor furniture was a bit rickety so was uncomfortable to lay on for long periods of time. One other thing - the top level description says 6 FULL bathrooms - there are really 4 full and 2 half's. It does say that in the details but I didn't see that until we re-read. Host might want to change that description! We thought there were 3 full on each side. Note - the 2 "non-master" BR's have to share a hall bath. And also note ALL bedrooms are on the top floor, which is really a 3rd floor when you take into account the stairs from the driveway. (In case you have older people coming with you) We also brought a pup and she was in HEAVEN all week - very pet friendly house and beach - the deck even has a sliding door across so she couldn't wander off down to the beach or on to the dunes where a sweet tortoise lives and comes out to sunbathe every day! There were tons of pots and pans and silverware and plates and amenities. Overall we had a great stay and would come back if we visit the St Aug area again.

We booked the entire house for an extended family beach trip and we had the best time! You can’t beat the beautiful beach access just steps away from the house, and the house itself is perfect for a big group getaway. We had a barbecue on the deck and the hot tub was great as well. The rooms were clean and tidy and the entire house is well-equipped with supplies and beach toys, which were great for the kids. The house is super cozy and relaxing too. The property management company is awesome. Super helpful and responsive. We had an amazing time and will definitely keep this place in mind for future trips.

I debated on just what a fair review would be. I settled on 4 stars. We really enjoyed our stay: the Views,the Beach the HOT Tub, etc. The house was comfortable and mostly clean, there were amenities that needed attention, a couple were addressed while we were there, but there are many that will require lot of attention. We loved the location of this house. AMAZING! It was perfect to be right on the beach, especially with kiddos. Having the house right there was so convenient. The house was spacious. Salty Dog was easy to deal with and no issues with communication. I hesitate to review the actual house because we pretty much knew what we were getting by looking at photos so it wasn't like I was disappointed. You get what you see, maybe a little worse since photos don't show everything. It is outdated, it's not super clean ( baseboards and nooks and crannies could use some deep cleaning, outside decks need power washed). Some of our family thought it was nice though and liked the house and then the picky ones like my husband and I, weren't very comfortable there. It depends on how picky you are about cleanliness and modern design. You will not go wrong with this location though!

Pictures do NOT do this location justice. The beachfront view is amazing! Our group of 8 stayed in both of the units extremely comfortably. Property management was communicative, and wonderful to work with. Don't pass this home up for your vacation!

We had a wonderful time here. It is SO close to the beach that even pics don't do it justice. You couldn't ask for a better location at all! Being this close is what MAKES this home so special. Plenty of space (we had 2 families sharing both units). The Good: *Amazing views *Super close to the beach *Felt like a private beach *Plenty of space *Any issues were promptly resolved *TONS of towels, beach chairs, etc so you don't have to worry about bringing those *Only about 20 mins from historic St. Augustine - so much to do *The ocean was clean and so fun The Less Than Good: *note: these are all pretty minor complaints* *Cleanliness could have been improved (master bathroom bath mat smelled awful b/c shower door deposits water every time its opened - some spots had not been attended to at all and were dusty) *Blender top missing in one unit, other blender was putrid and had mold spores in it which was disappointing because I planned to have smoothies and protein shakes for breakfast *When we arrived the AC in one unit was not working and the unit was pretty hot but the host got the AC repair man out the next morning and was fixed. *Hot tub took an entire day to heat up the first time but it was nice to jump in after a dip in the ocean (after rinsing off) Overall - I would definitely stay here again because of the views and how close it is to the ocean. But I'd really like the bed linens to be updated and/or cleaned better. We had an amazing family vacation here, though. Great memories!
