You will definitely want a car. We recommend renting bikes or golf carts to enjoy the town for a more local feel.

Guests may request early check-in for $20/hour. We do our best to accommodate requests but it is based on cleaning schedule and may not be available during heavy turnover days so that we can ensure the home has plenty of time to be cleaned.

**Nearby Jet Ski, Beach Equipment and Watersport facilities and activity rentals are available in our area. However these are not directly provided by Salty Dog Vacations.**

My son and I made a last minute trip to watch the launch of a rocket from Cape Canaveral. Being last minute, places were hard to find. This location looked like a dream and was one of a few left to rent. The price was competitive and it looked like a great location. We arrived early in the morning and we were blown away at how clean the house was. We’ve stayed in numerous beach houses and it was on the upper end of the spectrum. There were numerous amenities and it was a great location with a low-key population surrounding the area. (Not a Daytona party area, good for families) Just a heads up, the one thing that was a little hard, was finding/entering the driveway. It was hard to spot, although the owner did paint the mailbox to aid with location. This was a minor issue and honestly, the only thing I can think of which was a challenge. The owner was very helpful and quick to respond. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and will be hoping to book with this host again.

This home was perfect for our family of 5. The access to ocean was easy and fun. No cars after 6 and to be honest only a few drove by. The playroom was perfect for our 3 children we could lock the door and know they were safe while we were enjoying the back porch. The bathrooms and showers were clean with great water pressure. There were plenty of warm blankets when we wanted to chill inside. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved it and can’t wait to come back! Perfect getaway for the entire family. Loved the space and the commodity of having a bathroom for each bedroom. The private beach access and the view was top tier. We had lots of fun, the kids enjoyed the beach toys and we loved sitting by the fire pit at night with the sound of the waves. Great location, we enjoyed touring the NASCAR Daytona 500 International Speedway!

The private beach access and the view was top tier. We had lots of fun, the kids enjoyed the beach toys and we loved sitting by the fire pit at night with the sound of the waves. Great location, we enjoyed touring the NASCAR Daytona 500 International Speedway!

Great Beach house in Daytona

Celebrating son’s graduation from ERAU and had the best stay at this well appointed beach house! Was perfect for our family of 8 adults- parents, grandparents, and siblings were all impressed w the accommodations and proximity to the beach. We had plenty of parking for 3 vehicles and our host provided dishwasher and laundry soap which was used and appreciated. Responsive host when we contacted for a few questions. We used the grill and kitchen for some meals and had mostly everything we needed. The Game Room was a great option to have, as well as the Hot Tub but we didn’t have time to use either. We also appreciated the 4 bathrooms for our group and the washer/dryer as well. Very clean, well appointed and decorated. Thank you!

Great little beach house

We stayed in this house for the Rolex 24 hour race. It was lovely, clean, and cozy. The beds were all comfortable and we loved the view of the ocean and the beach. The kitchen was well appointed and we would definitely stay here again.

My only comment would be about the security camera out back. at night, every time you moved it cut on for about 30 seconds. Bright lights. it was just annoying. if you can get over that man that place is awesome.

We love this place so much! There were plenty of beds and room for everyone. Loved that the house was right on the beach and we could keep our beach stuff outside for use the next day- plus there was SO MUCH STUFF already there for the beach which was super helpful! The kids loved all the beach toys. It was so peaceful to be able to watch the sunrise in the morning and then sit by the fire pit at night and read a bit. We will definitely be back!

One of the best places we have stayed without a doubt! I would recommend this property 10000%!! The customer service was outstanding, the property was exactly as the pictures. No surprises! Even better in fact. As soon as you walk in the door, you know you’re in a beach house! The decor is so cute and artwork is amazing. Flow of house is awesome! View is stunning! Private backyard if you can believe it. The white fence on both sides is awesome! When you decide to rent a beach house, it’s already a premium over a condo or hotel. So you have higher expectations. This house was exactly what our family of 5 wanted, needed & paid for. Worth every penny. A few little details that would NOT affect my plan to rebook again at all and so minimal with easy fixes, almost not worth mentioning. But landscape lacked in backyard. Easy to pull weeds etc. And only other issue was that 2 of the 3 showers were too dark to use with no lighting but that’s coming from 2 teenage daughters😂 Book it!

Everyone was great to work with and very responsive. Location was far enough from the downtown area to not have to deal with traffic but walking distance to everything. Layout was perfect, plenty of baths and sitting area. It looks like an additional sleeping space and bath are going in. We used the back patio space every night. Getting down to the beach was a challenge, it just kinda dropped off, it looks like they’re working on some stairs maybe? If there were any problems the staff fixed it, even our dumb questions. Kambria was amazing, she even brought a personal air mattress to help with the lack of beds. The “game room” is part of the sleeping description but it has no access to a bathroom and not conveniently close to the house. The “futons” in the photo is more like cheap office furniture, not something a sober person would sleep on. Definitely not a 10 person rental…8 tops if it’s couples or you don’t mind doubling up. The sleeping accommodations were the only problem we had.

My wife and I stayed here for her 40th birthday. Her mom and another couple share the house with us and we all felt right at home. Getting down to the beach was a little precarious as it required walking down some slipery sand and stepping down some rocks. It was not terribly difficult, but maybe not ideal for older folks. However, it looked like the property owners were preparing to have a walkable staircase installed so hopefully future guest will find it easier to get down to the beach. Otherwise we loved the property and really enyoyed our stay.

Salty Dog does all the little things that make a host great. The house had everything you need, including little bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash in each bath. Having the ocean in your backyard is special and is worth every penny. The ocean was a bit challenging to get down to, having no walkway with a steep bank. No sweat for a young family, but tough for my in laws. Overall, we had a great time and the house was perfect.

This place was absolutely incredible and exactly as described in pictures! The view is outstanding and the house is extremely well equipped with everything you will ever need in the game room is a blast! We'll definitely be booking here again.

Perfect spot if you’re looking to have your own place right on the beach; the convenience is unmatched. There are numerous amenities for whatever you’re looking to do at the beach: boogie boards, an umbrella, beach chairs, toys for making sand castles, etc. Be advised the walk down the sand to the beach itself can be steep. But the house is exactly as it’s pictured and I think was worth the convenience. The game room is certainly a nice little addition.

The beach is at your fingertips with a great patio full of seating for everyone and they provided so many beach accessories that everything you could need was available. Would absolutely stay again
