Welcome to our crib. This is a huge beach paradise fo shizzle. The fully stocked kitchen, 5 bed, 4 bath, pool table and fire pit make it fun fo rizzle. We think our house is the shiznit and welcome fun people looking to have a great vacation. Walk to the beach, maybe while sipping some gin and juice or soak in the cowboy pool. Ocean view (peaks) from several rooms. Located in a great hood, this dope spot is a wonderful place to unwind, just don't act wiggity-wack. Plenty of parking for all your rides. Near shopping, dining and mini-golf. Pet fees will apply, contact us for amount. Early Check in/Late Checkout $25 per hour. Please reach out to the host for availability.

**Nearby Jet Ski, Beach Equipment and Watersport facilities and activity rentals are available in our area. However these are not directly provided by Salty Dog Vacations.**

Damage Waiver Disclaimer:

I. AGREEMENT

On behalf of Salty Dog Vacations, LLC, the party authorized to rent the vacation rental property and the owner of the vacation rental property, Waivo has assumed the responsibility for damages as outlined below and waives Your security deposit up to $2,500, the waiver limit purchased by You, the renter, for your stay at the vacation rental property.

Waivo is hereby responsible for theft or direct damage to real or personal property of the vacation rental property as a result of Your acts or omissions. Waivo will pay the lesser of the cost of repairs or the cost to replace the property up to $2,500. This waiver does not negate your responsibilities as a renter for items outside of Waivo’s responsibilities.

This is not an agreement to provide insurance. You are buying a waiver of the security deposit otherwise due as part of Your vacation rental property lease agreement.

II. EXCLUSIONS

This Security Deposit Waiver will not pay for damages or theft resulting from:

1. Acts of God

2. Prior damage, cosmetic damage, or normal wear and tear

3. Theft without a valid police report if over $250

4. Loss of use of the vacation rental property

5. Rodent, termite, infestation, or wild animal

6. Damage to a motorized vehicle

7. Fine art, collectibles, or sets of items

This Waiver will not pay for damage or theft of property owned by You.

This Waiver will not pay for costs associated with odor, debris removal, backups of sewers and drains, landscaping, marring, maintenance, or mechanical breakdown.

III. CONDITIONS

Waivo has the sole authority to determine the nature and extent of damages, necessary repairs, and eligibility for the waiver, and shall exercise that authority in a reasonable manner.

Waivo reserves the right to determine if damage is eligible for reimbursement at actual cash value.

This Waiver will pay for excessive cleaning, as a direct result of damage, over and above the normal cleaning fee. An irreparable stain or spillage is considered damage.

This Waiver is only effective for a one-time single continuous stay, of up to 90 days, for which You purchased the Waiver. It takes effect when You occupy the vacation rental property and terminates when You depart the same vacation rental property.

This Waiver is only effective if any theft or damage is reported to Waivo by You, the property manager, the online travel agent or the owner of the vacation rental property within 14 days of Your departure from the vacation rental property.

Waivo will not respond to damage or theft under $50 US dollars.

If there is a dispute related to these terms, mediation is required before any party may file litigation. In the event of litigation, all parties waive the right to a jury trial.

IV. DEFINITIONS

You, or Your, is the renter of the vacation rental property and includes the renter’s spouse, children and any other person the renter invited on to the vacation rental property during your stay at the vacation rental property.

Kudos to the staff. So great when we were being flooded and our tv didn’t work. Thanks for replacing. Great job Cambria Positive: We chose the property for the accommodations and location to NDA. Love the 4 bath option!! The decor was great. Starter amenities. Super! Negative: So many stairs but that’s just because Grands prefer ground level. Also wished the foosball table wasn’t hard to use. Needs replaced as well as the pool sticks need replaced. BUT we truly enjoyed playing!

I hope you like stairs. There are lots of them. Nice big yard with fun outdoor areas in front, side, and back of the house. The house is super cute in a perfect location. The rental company provides all essentials for the stay and lots of extras like beach towels and toiletries. Property management was super cool and allowed for an early check in.

The home was accommodating to our family. The “Gangsta game room” is perfectly located in the basement and also has an entrance/exit on that level, great for the younger crowd . The house is located within walking distance to the beach and close to nearby restaurants. The host is very responsive. We enjoyed our stay.

Beach access is a short walk, access to all the best food is just a short drive and it's under 10 minutes from Ocean Center (the reason we were there). The billiards and Golden Tee tournaments alone were worth it all. The host was more communicative than I was and very eager to make sure we were taken care of.If you're coming to Dayton Beach, you cannot go wrong with the Beach Gangsta Paradise!

They are renovating and I get it. That wasn't told to us though. The grill was laying down from the wind. But when we went to use it, it was filthy. There were plenty of towels to use. Kitchen was stocked of things we needed to cook with. However we went to use the dishwasher and water went everywhere. Had to unload and clean up the mess. Nice location. Pool table and game machine was entertaining. Plenty of beach chairs and towles to enjoy. Pool was dirty. Grandkids threw mulch in so my son took the initiative and emptied and scrubbed and reflled it. But the amount of dirt and green around the tank itself was there prier to us being there. The bed in master room feels like and sounds like its going to fall apart lol. We had a heck of a time getting out of it. Lol We did communicate with Salty Dog on some of these issues. Owners should have it completely renovated before renting it out though. Would definitely consider renting again when its all fixed up.

This place is awesome! We had a big group stay for July 4th and it accommodated everyone! The place is very clean and we all felt right at home. The location is awesome. Close to all the great restaurants and downtown action, also right across from the beach! The cowboy pool was a cool bonus as well. Big yard and 3 great sitting areas on the side of the house, the back, and the front! All spaces were used and enjoyed! Our group also enjoyed the pool table downstairs! I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to everyone! Salty Dog Rentals also made our stay very enjoyable, the whole booking, checking in, and checking out process was easy. They were very helpful and I would recommend this company to everyone! We greatly enjoyed our stay and we have nothing negative to say!

Nice Property, needs pest control

The property is as described and communication is excellent. When we stayed in mid-May, we needed to share the house with a plethora of cockroaches. I went and got poison traps (20 of my own money) and then proceeded to pick up dead roaches all over the basement every morning.Other than the roaches which spoiled it for those sleeping in the basement bedrooms, the property was good and communication was excellent. Confirm pest control has been done before booking.

Golf 2025

Overall we had a good stay The multiple bedrooms and baths were good for us, 7 old guys for a quick golf trip. The kitchen pots and pans could use some updates. We only cooked breakfast at the house. We will be looking for something next year with little or no stairs. Thank you for a good trip.

We had 7 people stay here and the home was fantastic! Plenty of space for folks to have their own time when not hanging out together. Easy to get an Uber to/from this location. The kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Loved it!!!

My family and I stayed during Turkey Rod. The location was perfect. There was plenty of space for parking. The host was very responsive. We had a early check in and ran into a small problem, but it was handled in no time! I really liked that there was clear and very simple instructions when checking out of the airbnb. Review for Salty Property I had high hopes for this stay, but unfortunately, it fell short in several ways. The house is in serious need of an update. Upon arrival, we were immediately put off by the musty odor that lingered throughout the property, giving the entire place an old, neglected feel. The cleanliness was also an issue—there were noticeable cobwebs and insects in the corners of rooms, and rodents, which made us uncomfortable. The house itself seems to have been through some questionable renovations. The former exterior walls had been enclosed and painted over to become interior walls, which gave the space a strange, disjointed feel. This might have been an attempt to modernize, but it didn’t work well aesthetically, and it felt like corners were cut in the process. Overall, I would not recommend this property unless the owner invests in deep cleaning, some serious updates, and a better ventilation system. This stay was not the relaxing experience we were hoping for.

Amazing location. House is definitely a party place and accommodated our group of 5 perfectly. Master suite is lovely and super comfortable!!! Needs a little maintenance and upgrading, especially the outdoor seating area. Pool was a little dirty. Not nearly enough kitchen trash bags. Basics like salt/pepper and olive oil would be nice. The AC is a little off with the zones. Super cold on top floor and the basement was hot and muggy. Overall, great place. Awesome access to the beach and Publix within walking distance.

Daytona 400 Weekend Stay!

The overall experience at this Salty Dog Daytona rental was really great! There was ample room for the 9 of us to spread out and a lot to do with the various gaming, foosball and pool table downstairs, and the beach nearby. The yard was lovely. the only disappointment was the hot tub which was no more that a wading pool that was a habitat for thousands of tadpoles!!! Overall though, we all had a wonderful weekend. One more thing worth mentioning were the surprsing expensive host fees! These fees proved to be as much as the rental fees if not slightly more! Although this was an amazing house... given the choice I'd be tempted to find another rental whose fees weren't as high!

Great place to stay

We enjoyed ourselves so much! The house was the perfect size for the 6 of us. It was a great distance from everything we needed and wanted and communicating was quick and easy. We would definitely use them again.

Cute beach house

We stayed here during our trip to Daytona for the NASP Archery tournament. We had 10 people with us and it slept all very comfortably. It is an older house and has the charm of a modernized 1950s beach home. Management/owners are quick to respond and so very nice. Our group stayed here for spring break and found it satisfactory overall, but there were some annoyances. One minor yet frustrating issue was the absence of towel hooks, a simple amenity sorely missed when sharing showers among nine people. This was a consistent pattern; while they invested in a very cool concierge iPad setup, basic essentials like oven mitts or propane for the grill/fire were lacking. Additionally, if you are debating selecting this spot for the "chill" environment they market, you should be aware that it features multiple hidden vape detectors in each room. Nothing wrong with them wanting that, just not really in line with their "laid-back" attitude. I also tried contacting them multiple times through Airbnb messages, texts, and phone with no response. The only way they responded was through the "broken appliance" request on the iPad. These were all minor complaints, overall a very beautiful house and we had a very fun time. Just some suggestions for the hosts to fix

Hi Harrison, thank you for your suggestion on the towel hooks, great idea! Our apologies if we did not leave an oven mitt for you, that was an oversight. I did want to address a few of the other issues you mentioned. The smoke detectors are certainly not hidden and are there to protect the home from guests that ignore our rules about not smoking in the house. We don't care what you smoke, so long as you do it outside. We state that very clearly in the rules and in the listing so I'm not sure why having smoke detectors in the home would make us not "laid-back." As chill as we are, we certainly still want to protect our property from smoke for future guests and to keep the home nice. Most homeowners understand how damaging smoking in a home can be. The other item you noted was that you said we were not responsive, so I pulled our texts, emails and phone callsw. Here is a message you sent us and our reply within 15 minutes Hi! We also show on our maintenance tab that the propane tank was left open when you guys used it, which drains the propane, and that our maintenance man delivered another propane tank. If I am missing other contacts from you that we did not reply to our sincerest apologies as we work our tail off to make sure everyone has a great vacation.

The owners/salty dog made our stay wonderful. The house was able to accommodate a large group which is a rare find so close to the beach. The kitchen was beautiful and master bedroom was huge! Parking, beach towels, and laundry were also a plus! The basement bedrooms (one bedroom has no windows at all) were tough for the individuals to stay in due to the lack of ventilation, broken ceiling fan which was extremely loud when it was on and therefore the individuals in that room were unable to use it, and complaints of the room smelling very musty; making it very challenging for them to sleep. I will add the owners/salty dog had an individual come out to the house to fix the ceiling fan but they were unable to fix it. The rooms upstairs were great and there are no complaints here! Overall a great stay!

Space Launch Views are a Bonus!

Our multi-generation family's stay was good. There were minor problems associated with old homes that the property management company quickly addressed. The couch in the basement/1st floor stunk like pot, but we came prepared with Odo-ban, which helped a lot. The overall cleanliness of the house, furniture & sheets was good. The house was recently renovated to include walk-in showers (towel bars/hooks would be a handy addition) on all 3 floors & an updated kitchen on the 2nd floor. The house was originally built in the 1930’s & the old-house character led to many conversations about it’s history. The old sleeping porches (essential to surviving sub-tropical nights before central air conditioning) have been enclosed & showcase the original siding. If you look carefully from the yard, you will notice slight texture differences in the siding, which are fascinating details for those who love old houses. The 1st floor bedrooms are likely blissfully cool in the summer, however they do not have any direct heat during occasional Florida cold weather periods (like during our stay). If you love to snuggle under blankets, these 2 rooms are for you. This property might not be the best choice if your group includes mobility-challenged people, as you have to climb stairs to get to the 2nd floor living & bedroom spaces. The last 2 bedrooms/bathrooms are on the 3rd floor. A SpaceX Falcon Heavy launch happened while we were there...great views from the front deck. Overall, a great vacation.

The house is beautiful and directly across from The beach. The walk to the beach access is about a 7 minute walk. The host provided beach towels, chairs, umbrealla everything you need to have a great day at the beach. However my guest complained a lot about the air circulation in the basement. There is only one vent. I suggest providing two tower fans for the rooms in the basement so that guest can sleep comfortably otherwise it’s too hot down there and the ceiling fans are circulating hot air. Another huge problem we kept coming across was excessive large spiders, ants in the bed and gnats in all of the bathrooms. Maybe leave some bug spray and moth balls All over. Because of those issues I feel we weren’t able to fully enjoy relaxation. Other than that we appreciated the large kitchen, board games, master suite and coffee.

I stayed at River Ridge Estates with my 17 yr. old son, 4 of his friends and 4 other parents. Overall our stay was fantastic! The house was clean and had everything we needed. When they were not at the beach, the boys mostly stayed down in the basement playing pool and hanging out... reminded me of a frat house down there! My only criticism (minor) is that the house looks better in the online pictures than in person. It is an older house that looks new in the pics. Having said that, we would definitely stay there again, and I don't think the owners are deceiving the public they just had a really good photographer!😜

Overall Satisfaction

The house itself is very nice. But the smell in the bottom 2 bedrooms was extremely bad. To the point of nobody could sleep down there. Which then put us in tight quarters upstairs. I rented the house and gave up my spot upstairs to sleep at my home back in Ormond Beach, so i personally didn’t even get to sleep there at all. The sheets were covered in sand, and we battled with bugs all weekend. The house setup would of been great for everything that we were looking for, but I wouldn’t rent again. As a group of 8 we were extremely disappointed in the property.

Daytona Convention Trip

In town as an exhibitor for a convention. The property was as described, and the managers were great to communicate with, we were running low on propane and I sent an email at 9pm and immediately got a response. The property has multiple floors and bedrooms and enough space for our whole team. Would rent again, especially for a large group.

The property was as described, and the managers were great to communicate with, we were running low on propane and I sent an email at 9pm and immediately got a response. The property has multiple floors and bedrooms and enough space for our whole team. Would rent again, especially for a large group.

Perfect for our yearly reunion!

The space in the house is perfect for multiple families. Decor is so cute and the check in and out process is probably the best I have ever seen in almost 20 years of using VBRO!! The rental seems like it has recently been remodeled because everything feels fresh and clean. We will definitely be back!

Four of us stayed in this house on a business trip. It was very clean and very comfortable. And in a great location. Each person had their own bathroom which was a big bonus. I would highly recommend this property for anyone staying in the Daytona Beach area.

My family and I had to come to Florida on short notice, and Salty got back to us instantly about this property’s availability. It was idea for three married couples and a couple single family members— we all had our own private bedrooms and bathrooms. There was also a few common spaces where we could gather comfortably or WFH quietly. It was the perfect place for my family and our needs. We would highly consider staying here again during a potential return to Florida.

Had a nice spur of the minute get-away here. Just across the street from the beach (an easy 5 minute walk to public access path). Layout of home was good with the lower level space and all the bedrooms and bathrooms. Home was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Publix is a 3-5 minute drive for groceries. The communication was excellent in helping us with our last minute booking. Thank you for sharing your place!

Great Airbnb for a larger group of people! Amenities were great, especially for those driving and can’t load up a car with a bunch of bulky beach extras and ect. Lots of parking spaces. Very clean house and timely responses from the host. A great binder with recommendations on food, things to do, potential emergency contacts, and more. Plenty of space for the amount of people the Airbnb can host! Walk to the beach was about 5 minutes which is a big bonus!

Just a bike ride away from the beach! Very clean, multiple outdoor spaces to enjoy, extra towels, kitchen tools, grill, etc., & the only complaint is how hot the downstairs area stays.

this was a very large and well decorated home perfect for a family or group of friends to enjoy a relaxing stay in Daytona. great patio a nice place to grill and minutes from the beach.
