Direct beachfront home! Enjoy the huge kitchen with family while cooking meals, grilling a fish you caught on a charter or playing cards. The large bedroom rooms, spacious decks and the World's Most Famous Beach make this the perfect family getaway. Enjoy use of the golf cart to beebop around town (additional fees may apply). Walk out the back door and see the dolphins play as you sip your coffee. Enjoy a rocket launch while roasting marshmallows over the fire pit or grab a boogie board and show the kids how it's done. Plenty of parking and large bathrooms, this fully stocked home makes it easy bring your suitcase and start playing in the sand. Private walkway to toes in the sand. We wanted to share a quick update regarding the property. Since the hurricanes, we've completed extensive work, and we're happy to report that the house is in excellent condition. Beach access is still limited. Early Check in/Late Checkout $65 per hour. Please reach out to the host for availability.

As part of the improvements, we've added sand to the beach steps at the back of the house to enhance the natural flow to the shore. While the area is completely safe, please note that the sand slope is slightly steep. If you're traveling with young children or elderly guests, they may appreciate a bit of extra assistance when navigating the steps.

**Nearby Jet Ski, Beach Equipment and Watersport facilities and activity rentals are available in our area. However these are not directly provided by  Salty Dog Vacations.**

Events-we are happy to host events if they are disclosed, pre-approved and any event fees/insurance paid. Unauthorized events (of any sort) will be shut down so please just reach out if you are interested in hosting an event and let's make it great!

Located in Daytona Beach Shores just south of all of the action of Daytona Beach but in a very family friendly area. Near shopping, dining, mini golf, boating, fishing and of course surfing in the backyard.

You will definitely want a car but we highly recommend enjoying a bike ride on the beach as well.

Damage Waiver Disclaimer:

I. AGREEMENT

On behalf of Salty Dog Vacations, LLC, the party authorized to rent the vacation rental property and the owner of the vacation rental property, Waivo has assumed the responsibility for damages as outlined below and waives Your security deposit up to $2,500, the waiver limit purchased by You, the renter, for your stay at the vacation rental property.

Waivo is hereby responsible for theft or direct damage to real or personal property of the vacation rental property as a result of Your acts or omissions. Waivo will pay the lesser of the cost of repairs or the cost to replace the property up to $2,500. This waiver does not negate your responsibilities as a renter for items outside of Waivo’s responsibilities.

This is not an agreement to provide insurance. You are buying a waiver of the security deposit otherwise due as part of Your vacation rental property lease agreement.

II. EXCLUSIONS

This Security Deposit Waiver will not pay for damages or theft resulting from:

1. Acts of God

2. Prior damage, cosmetic damage, or normal wear and tear

3. Theft without a valid police report if over $250

4. Loss of use of the vacation rental property

5. Rodent, termite, infestation, or wild animal

6. Damage to a motorized vehicle

7. Fine art, collectibles, or sets of items

This Waiver will not pay for damage or theft of property owned by You.

This Waiver will not pay for costs associated with odor, debris removal, backups of sewers and drains, landscaping, marring, maintenance, or mechanical breakdown.

III. CONDITIONS

Waivo has the sole authority to determine the nature and extent of damages, necessary repairs, and eligibility for the waiver, and shall exercise that authority in a reasonable manner.

Waivo reserves the right to determine if damage is eligible for reimbursement at actual cash value.

This Waiver will pay for excessive cleaning, as a direct result of damage, over and above the normal cleaning fee. An irreparable stain or spillage is considered damage.

This Waiver is only effective for a one-time single continuous stay, of up to 90 days, for which You purchased the Waiver. It takes effect when You occupy the vacation rental property and terminates when You depart the same vacation rental property.

This Waiver is only effective if any theft or damage is reported to Waivo by You, the property manager, the online travel agent or the owner of the vacation rental property within 14 days of Your departure from the vacation rental property.

Waivo will not respond to damage or theft under $50 US dollars.

If there is a dispute related to these terms, mediation is required before any party may file litigation. In the event of litigation, all parties waive the right to a jury trial.

IV. DEFINITIONS

You, or Your, is the renter of the vacation rental property and includes the renter’s spouse, children and any other person the renter invited on to the vacation rental property during your stay at the vacation rental property.

This was a great beach house. Very roomy, great views, really nice deck to watch the views, also, close access to the beach. The house has some old Florida charm. We enjoyed our stay.

The “ salty dog” team stepped up and switched us to another location and went above and beyond to make things right for my daughter’s special day. Had a beautiful stay after all.

We recently stayed at this rental property through and while there were certainly positives, we felt it was important to share some honest feedback about our experience.First, the good: They were very responsive. We had a small issue with the tv and they sent someone over to try to fix immediately. The home itself was very spacious and well-stocked with thoughtful extras that made our stay more comfortable. There were plenty of bath and beach towels, pillows, and cleaning materials. The kitchen was impressively equipped with a wide variety of cooking utensils, pans, and small appliances, which made preparing meals easy. The bathrooms were also very clean, which we appreciated. The home had lots of beach toys and supplies, which was a nice touch for families However, we were also disappointed by a few things that made this trip harder than it needed to be. One of the main reasons we chose this home was its advertised direct beach access, as we were planning this trip for my mother, who has health issues and dementia. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we were shocked to find that the steps down to the beach were incomplete and likely not ADA compliant. I had even inquired about the steps beforehand but never received a response, which was disheartening. We ended up having to rent a golf cart at an additional 550 just to get her safely to and from the beach — an unexpected expense that we had not budgeted for.Additionally, the outside of the home had a very strong, unpleasant

We’ve stayed here twice!! Loved it both times!! If I can say anything negative is that it’s a little dated. The vegetation outside the fence on the back deck could be cut for a better view. We love the sitting area at the end of the walkway to the beach!! My favorite evening spot to watch the ocean and hear the waves!! It could be a little easier getting down on the actual beach from that point, I think the weather has played apart in that tho!! We love it and will return!!

We stayed at this location for 6 nights. The only subject I gave 4 instead of 5 stars was the “description” category. We didn’t have stairs from our boardwalk directly to the beach. However, the way Salty was able to cover the rocks for a natural entrance was manageable enough for most of our party. For those that couldn’t make it down the hill, the public access was less than 100 yards away from the driveway so we didn’t have anyone that couldn’t get to the beach. All other areas of the survey were amazing! The size of the home was perfect for our trip, it was very clean, and they even let us in an hour early because we got into town earlier than we thought. Salty was VERY responsive to every text, and was able to get maintenance to visit us on Saturday when we had a slight air conditioning issue that was addressed immediately by this host. I would recommend this house and this company to any of my family and friends! It was an amazing family beach vacation!

This is a great place for families and kids and they welcomed our dog as well. The location is 100% and right on the beach - beautiful view of the ocean! The stairs to the beach were still gone from the hurricane - which we knew- and that was a bummer because the beach is literally right there. It’s a short walk around the next door neighbors house to the public walkway so not bad. Gorgeous sunrises can be enjoyed right from the deck. The place was quiet and the beach was pretty private. The fourth bathroom is a utility bathroom in the garage. Great place for a family and super awesome that our pup could come along and stay with us.

They were working on construction while we were there so it should be done soon. Great place to enjoy family and the ocean
The house was very clean and well stock. The large deck with numerous chairs over looking the ocean was a great place to enjoy family and the sun rise. The host team was great to work with and very responsive to any issues. We enjoyed our stay.

Great beach house
The house is amazing and the location cannot be beat.

It’s such a beautiful location ! Please renovate, improve and update Positive: Amazing location on the beach ! Lots of porch seating - plentiful parking. Fun watching the rabbits and skinks (little lizards). Ocean and dolphins ! Negative: The owners were very good about telling us to let them know about any problems they could fix … but if we did, we would have had strangers intruding on our family gathering all week. Smelled musty - everything needs updating badly. Poor lighting - family members complained about AC vents water dripping on their bed and blowing directly on them. Kitchen needs to be more properly equipped (more pots and pans, utensils- etc) and knife block with sharp kitchen knives. Needs a range hood that works and vents outside (all food smells stay in the house). Refrigerator is rickety. Upstairs bedroom needs an adult’s mattress and not a futon, as well as nightstands and charging stations. Bathrooms need updating and better water pressure. Not enough towels, dirty or stained sheets. A few Huge cockroaches. Vacuum was loaded full and clogged (we had to empty and clean the filter and unclog it to use it). AC is noisy. Only one hair dryer in the house. Many Windows don’t open. Construction next door(I understand you can’t control that, but was very loud and disruptive) So much rusty stuff and decking that was dangerously in disrepair (parent who is legally blind). My wife and I have considered renting out our home, and would have been horribly embarrassed to have ever considered taking someone’s money if it was in this condition. Please take some of your rental money and do renovations. You have a beautiful location.. but wouldn’t rent this again in this condition .

En general todo estaba bien la casa es cómoda y espaciosa es un lugar tranquilo y lo mejor que está frente al mar solo cuando llegamos la ksa tenía olor a guardado pero luego cuando bajamos el aire y rociamos Lysol no lo sentimos mas, pero recomiendo la casa y volvería a ir

Wonderful location, private beach area, sand and beach were perfect as well as the ocean. Walk right out to the ocean. Home was very comfortable with 4 bedrooms each with multiple beds and bathrooms. Properties managers were exception and super quick to respond. Salty Dog managers.

The beach house was very cozy and comfortable. Loved the close access to the beach. Plenty of towels provided and the washer and dryer was a plus too. Everyone had a great time. I would definitely stay there again with my family. The only improvement I could suggest was to provide a griddle or big electric skillet to cook breakfast for a large family and a few more cutting utensil would be nice too ( for cutting fruits and vegetables) Many special memories were made.

Great place, right on the beach with a nice kitchen, living room, and amazing outdoor deck. Hosts were very communicative and accommodating. One thing worth noting is that the beach looks a little different due to the hurricane. Otherwise amazing place in a quiet spot

Our team loved their stay with you. It actually came out cheaper than it would have should they have stayed in a busy hotel down the road & they will be back! Salty was accommodating of our special requests and always attentive to our messages. Thank you so much!!

The Salty team was a pleasure to deal with and the house met all of our expectations. The home is a beachfront property in Daytona Shores and after we booked, but before we arrived, hurricane Nicole came through. I contacted the Salty team and they were totally on top of it. House was in complete working order (as they said it would be) and they were very honest about beach erosion and damage to nearby properties. We came and the beach (even with some erosion) was still beautiful and the house was great (although the beach access is now down a steep little dune just beyond the deck.) The house was clean and adequately stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies (soap, TP, etc.) we would very happily stay again.

This house was a great find! Our original AirBNB canceled on us the night before we arrived, and this one fell into our lap at the last minute. In spite of some minor repair jobs (probably due to hurricane Ian), we found the house to be a perfect setup for family relaxation and fun. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room to spread out. The house sits right next to the beach and has easy access to the water. And the deck is huge! You can’t go wrong with this property!
