Breathtaking views from the top floor of Daytona Beach Resort. Two plush queen beds and a small private balcony to enjoy sunrise and sunset, in room coffee maker/keurig, refrigerator, jetted jacuzzi in bathroom and work desk. This cozy room will have you never wanting to leave the beach. Building is beachfront, beach access is currently next to the building. Unit is ocean view. Early Check in/Late Checkout $25 per hour. Damage Waiver Disclaimer:

I. AGREEMENT

On behalf of Salty Dog Vacations, LLC, the party authorized to rent the vacation rental property and the owner of the vacation rental property, Waivo has assumed the responsibility for damages as outlined below and waives Your security deposit up to $2,500, the waiver limit purchased by You, the renter, for your stay at the vacation rental property.

Waivo is hereby responsible for theft or direct damage to real or personal property of the vacation rental property as a result of Your acts or omissions. Waivo will pay the lesser of the cost of repairs or the cost to replace the property up to $2,500. This waiver does not negate your responsibilities as a renter for items outside of Waivo’s responsibilities.

This is not an agreement to provide insurance. You are buying a waiver of the security deposit otherwise due as part of Your vacation rental property lease agreement.

II. EXCLUSIONS

This Security Deposit Waiver will not pay for damages or theft resulting from:

1. Acts of God

2. Prior damage, cosmetic damage, or normal wear and tear

3. Theft without a valid police report if over $250

4. Loss of use of the vacation rental property

5. Rodent, termite, infestation, or wild animal

6. Damage to a motorized vehicle

7. Fine art, collectibles, or sets of items

This Waiver will not pay for damage or theft of property owned by You.

This Waiver will not pay for costs associated with odor, debris removal, backups of sewers and drains, landscaping, marring, maintenance, or mechanical breakdown.

III. CONDITIONS

Waivo has the sole authority to determine the nature and extent of damages, necessary repairs, and eligibility for the waiver, and shall exercise that authority in a reasonable manner.

Waivo reserves the right to determine if damage is eligible for reimbursement at actual cash value.

This Waiver will pay for excessive cleaning, as a direct result of damage, over and above the normal cleaning fee. An irreparable stain or spillage is considered damage.

This Waiver is only effective for a one-time single continuous stay, of up to 90 days, for which You purchased the Waiver. It takes effect when You occupy the vacation rental property and terminates when You depart the same vacation rental property.

This Waiver is only effective if any theft or damage is reported to Waivo by You, the property manager, the online travel agent or the owner of the vacation rental property within 14 days of Your departure from the vacation rental property.

Waivo will not respond to damage or theft under $50 US dollars.

If there is a dispute related to these terms, mediation is required before any party may file litigation. In the event of litigation, all parties waive the right to a jury trial.

IV. DEFINITIONS

You, or Your, is the renter of the vacation rental property and includes the renter’s spouse, children and any other person the renter invited on to the vacation rental property during your stay at the vacation rental property.

I would not stay again or recommend. Positive: That we were able to see the beach from the window. Negative: Almost everything. Room was as clean as it should have been. Had to walk far to access the beach. Not able to use the patio due to it not being clean upon arrival. Some elevators not working. Leaks in the hallway ceilings. Emails and notices in the room about joining all the activities that were no longer available. There was no 24 counter person as stated. Never received emails or info on unlock code. I had to reach out to get the info needed, same as what to do at end of stay.

Dirty carpet, uncomfortable mattreses.

Pros: Location, nice view to the beach. Near by shopping mall, Publix supermarket and Walgreens pharmacy. Nice big fridge, A/C was super cold. Cons: Lack of communication, the place was not clean properly, one bed was too close to the A/C and your face will freeze at night. Extra small TV, the curtains were very dirty and the carpet was full of a blue glitter. I understand some renters don't lie to keep the place neat but a "low rent" is no excuse to force others have a bad vacation time due to the lack of care inside the room. I had to use my own sheets because the ones provided has stains, the towels as well and the cloth to clean the counter top of the kitchen had a few long black hair attached.

I was not overly impressed with the facility. A it got the job done, but I wouldn’t recommend it to a friend. Positive: Phone Staff and price was very good Negative: Mold in shower, shower head did not work properly. Water pressure was low and temperature was warm at best. Also, excessive bird issue. (Bird poop) a huge problem on balcony. I don’t remember if it was offered, but if it was the indoor and outdoor pool were under construction.

Everything in the room was great, no complaints there! The parking situation for the resort was a little sub par, but nothing I couldn’t deal with. The host was very communicative and even checked in with me before/after hurricane Ian. I highly recommend!

Everything was clean and up to our standards! Loved having the Keurig because that's what we're used to at home since my husband and I like different coffees. lol We appreciated even beach towels being supplied. We stayed here on the way home to NC from south Florida, so having everything supplied was very very helpful! The resort is very nice, our boys (4 and 2) really enjoyed the amenities. The arcade was great for them when it was raining. One thing to note is the balcony isn't really a balcony. More like a walk out window. But being able to listen to the ocean is a huge plus regardless! Would stay here again!

Perfect vacation! Room was exactly as described view was beautiful you can see the whole ocean, pools and city view all in one we even got to watch the Space X Rocket launch right from the balcony! Check in was super easy took just a few minutes. The hotel itself was amazing from all the different pools, hot tubs and food. The host was very responsive with any questions we had and even let us know about special events that were happening that week. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay here and would come back. The host is very good at communicating and working with you regarding check in and check out as long as the circumstances permit. The place is stocked with everything you need and there are even beach and pool toys if you have children with you traveling. The view is amazing, the ocean view allows you to view the ocean and the city which is nice. The only thing is the balcony is not large enough to actually put chairs and sit outside so I was a little disappointed about that but there is enough room to stand and catch the breeze. The bathroom, however, is very spacious but the shower does drain slowly. They also have a book with information for your stay that has suggestions for your visit. We tried a few places and visited a nearby lighthouse that was suggested which was awesome. There are plenty of nearby restaurants, shopping stores, and gift shops. There is literally a shopping center across the street if you forget anything for your trip. Overall this was a great trip, plenty of things to do and multiple pools to enjoy while you vacation here. Would recommend.

This room was on the 14th floor and offered a beautiful view of the ocean! We typically get an ocean front room rather than ocean view but this view did not disappoint! The balcony is a walkout balcony but not a full balcony. We still enjoyed it though! The beds were so cozy and sheets so soft! The room was very clean as well as the kitchen! The full fridge and kitchette was so nice to have! We arrived to have a case of water already in the fridge and a liter of pepsi! That was a lovely surprise! There is an ice maker in the freezer which is always great to have! The bathroom has a lot of space and offered additional beach towels! The hotel itself is also nice! The check in process was simple. We checked in on a less busy day but there was a large influx of people as we were departing. Parking became a little difficult toward the end due to the parking garage being down currently. Having several pools was nice to be spaced out from others most days. The beach in this area was very clean as well! We would definitely stay again! Thank you Salty! 😁

The property was as listed. Will definitely go back. The area was nice and quiet. The property does offer a restaurant in the hotel, but does not serve food after 9 o’clock. There are a lot of restaurants that are walkable. Property is right all along the beach. Remember to bring beach chairs or you can rent them on the beach. All in all… Great stay. Will definitely stay again in the future.

Excellent communication! Karen was an incredible host. We didn’t use any of the resort amenities as we were just passing through on our way to Port Canaveral for a cruise but it was exceptional. We will definitely be booking again in the near future when we have more time to explore.

Check in was a little frustrating, we drove 16 hrs & tried to check in 2 different times after 3pm. I guess our reservation was never sent over. I was able to call & they got it taken care of. The room itself is pretty decent. However the balcony is very narrow, the beds & carpet are pretty worn out. Other than that it was a great trip. The kids loved being able to go back & forth from the ocean to the pool.

Positive: It was very clean and had plenty of parking. We went through Salty Dog Rentals and they were amazing. Negative: There wasn’t anything wrong with this property.

Positive: I am very upset on my stay. I checked in and parked where I was instrucked and got a parking pass and attached it to my vehicle. When I got up to check out there was no one at the desk to check out and when I went to get my vehicle it was gone. There was no one at the desk to talk to, so I called the police to report at stolen and found out the hotel had my vehicle towed. I called a taxi and it cost me $160. I can't believe I was treated this way.

Never Again! Positive: The partial Ocean view Negative: Room decor was extremely dated, unmatching, gritty dirty in spots from other hands as well as door handles and door walls around knobs, blackish. Over 15 nails sticking out from walls and holes where something once was, pretty dangerous to leave lik that. The rules were atrocges, made you not want to touch or use anything or get charged for it. Like towels having make up or any stain would cost a fee posted on bathroom mirror. Take trash out to dumpster not to be put in cans in building. Parking was awful due to limited space, garage was not open. Amenities, there were none! No pool, no hot tub, no restaurant on site as advertised, no blow dryer, small boxes taped up with lord knows what kind of shampoo, etc samples. Nothing had been done outside pool area since hurricane. It was a mess. Could not get to beach from hotel because it was blocked off due to hurricane destruction. Hallways reeked of cigarette smoke which were masked by strong sprays of Febreze or something. We didn't know we wouldn't be staying at Driftwood until the day of and text said Daytona Inn/old convention center building with a door code to check ourselves in. They have your money at that point, no refunds. It was an extremely uncomfortable $300 a night weekend. I have never experienced anything like it in all the traveling I do. Do not recommend it to anyone!

I would not stay again or recommend. Positive: That we were able to see the beach from the window. Negative: Almost everything. Room was as clean as it should have been. Had to walk far to access the beach. Not able to use the patio due to it not being clean upon arrival. Some elevators not working. Leaks in the hallway ceilings. Emails and notices in the room about joining all the activities that were no longer available. There was no 24 counter person as stated. Never received emails or info on unlock code. I had to reach out to get the info needed, same as what to do at end of stay.

Pros: Location, nice view to the beach. Near by shopping mall, Publix supermarket and Walgreens pharmacy. Nice big fridge, A/C was super cold. Cons: Lack of communication, the place was not clean properly, one bed was too close to the A/C and your face will freeze at night. Extra small TV, the curtains were very dirty and the carpet was full of a blue glitter. I understand some renters don't lie to keep the place neat but a "low rent" is no excuse to force others have a bad vacation time due to the lack of care inside the room. I had to use my own sheets because the ones provided has stains, the towels as well and the cloth to clean the counter top of the kitchen had a few long black hair attached.

I was not overly impressed with the facility. A it got the job done, but I wouldn’t recommend it to a friend. Positive: Phone Staff and price was very good Negative: Mold in shower, shower head did not work properly. Water pressure was low and temperature was warm at best. Also, excessive bird issue. (Bird poop) a huge problem on balcony. I don’t remember if it was offered, but if it was the indoor and outdoor pool were under construction.

Everything in the room was great, no complaints there! The parking situation for the resort was a little sub par, but nothing I couldn’t deal with. The host was very communicative and even checked in with me before/after hurricane Ian. I highly recommend!

The condo was very clean & comfortable. Nice pools & Tiki bar for drinks, it was in a great area, close to everything, we went to Congo Minature Golf down the road.

Everything was clean and up to our standards! Loved having the Keurig because that's what we're used to at home since my husband and I like different coffees. lol We appreciated even beach towels being supplied. We stayed here on the way home to NC from south Florida, so having everything supplied was very very helpful! The resort is very nice, our boys (4 and 2) really enjoyed the amenities. The arcade was great for them when it was raining. One thing to note is the balcony isn't really a balcony. More like a walk out window. But being able to listen to the ocean is a huge plus regardless! Would stay here again!

Perfect vacation! Room was exactly as described view was beautiful you can see the whole ocean, pools and city view all in one we even got to watch the Space X Rocket launch right from the balcony! Check in was super easy took just a few minutes. The hotel itself was amazing from all the different pools, hot tubs and food. The host was very responsive with any questions we had and even let us know about special events that were happening that week. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay here, everything was as pictured.. the only issue was the parking, we had to park across the street 2-3 times in the Walgreens parking lot because the parking lot at the condo was over filled. Other than that it was wonderful and they were very fast to reply to any issues we had😄

We enjoyed our stay here and would come back. The host is very good at communicating and working with you regarding check in and check out as long as the circumstances permit. The place is stocked with everything you need and there are even beach and pool toys if you have children with you traveling. The view is amazing, the ocean view allows you to view the ocean and the city which is nice. The only thing is the balcony is not large enough to actually put chairs and sit outside so I was a little disappointed about that but there is enough room to stand and catch the breeze. The bathroom, however, is very spacious but the shower does drain slowly. They also have a book with information for your stay that has suggestions for your visit. We tried a few places and visited a nearby lighthouse that was suggested which was awesome. There are plenty of nearby restaurants, shopping stores, and gift shops. There is literally a shopping center across the street if you forget anything for your trip. Overall this was a great trip, plenty of things to do and multiple pools to enjoy while you vacation here. Would recommend.

This room was on the 14th floor and offered a beautiful view of the ocean! We typically get an ocean front room rather than ocean view but this view did not disappoint! The balcony is a walkout balcony but not a full balcony. We still enjoyed it though! The beds were so cozy and sheets so soft! The room was very clean as well as the kitchen! The full fridge and kitchette was so nice to have! We arrived to have a case of water already in the fridge and a liter of pepsi! That was a lovely surprise! There is an ice maker in the freezer which is always great to have! The bathroom has a lot of space and offered additional beach towels! The hotel itself is also nice! The check in process was simple. We checked in on a less busy day but there was a large influx of people as we were departing. Parking became a little difficult toward the end due to the parking garage being down currently. Having several pools was nice to be spaced out from others most days. The beach in this area was very clean as well! We would definitely stay again! Thank you Salty! 😁

The condo was awesome and had a great view! Plenty of activities to do in the area, even within walking distance. The host provided beach towels too, which was very convenient. Definitely recommended!

The property was as listed. Will definitely go back. The area was nice and quiet. The property does offer a restaurant in the hotel, but does not serve food after 9 o’clock. There are a lot of restaurants that are walkable. Property is right all along the beach. Remember to bring beach chairs or you can rent them on the beach. All in all… Great stay. Will definitely stay again in the future.

Excellent communication! Karen was an incredible host. We didn’t use any of the resort amenities as we were just passing through on our way to Port Canaveral for a cruise but it was exceptional. We will definitely be booking again in the near future when we have more time to explore.

Check in was a little frustrating, we drove 16 hrs & tried to check in 2 different times after 3pm. I guess our reservation was never sent over. I was able to call & they got it taken care of. The room itself is pretty decent. However the balcony is very narrow, the beds & carpet are pretty worn out. Other than that it was a great trip. The kids loved being able to go back & forth from the ocean to the pool.

Beautiful and super clean accommodations! The south facing view of the beach was amazing! We had everything we needed in the kitchen and the bathroom was well stocked with beach towels and bath towels. Long morning walks on this amazing beach we’re wonderful! Great place that I would recommend to anyone!

It’s always wonderful staying here. Spectacular view, well decorated clean room, kitchenette, thoughtful snacks, spacious clean bathroom stocked with soft towels, two comfortable beds. I’ll definitely be returning for a 3rd time!
