Your ocean escape awaits, 30 day minimum rental required. Bring the whole family to this 7 bedroom, 7 bath, direct oceanfront home with gorgeous pool and four full kitchens. Tons of space, gorgeous décor and parking for three cars. Wake to the gorgeous sunrise while sipping coffee watching the dolphins play. Main house has 5 bedrooms, guest house has 2 studio aparments. Home is located on a no-drive beach and minutes from local fare and things-to-do. Grab a surfboard and ride a wave. Near lighthouse, fishing, tennis, pickle ball and pet friendly. Our Pet Fee is $25/per pet per day. Early Check in/Late Checkout $65 per hour. Please reach out to the host for availability.
**Nearby Jet Ski, Beach Equipment and Watersport facilities and activity rentals are available in our area. However these are not directly provided by Salty Dog Vacations.**
Damage Waiver Disclaimer:
I. AGREEMENT
On behalf of Salty Dog Vacations, LLC, the party authorized to rent the vacation rental property and the owner of the vacation rental property, Waivo has assumed the responsibility for damages as outlined below and waives Your security deposit up to $2,500, the waiver limit purchased by You, the renter, for your stay at the vacation rental property.
Waivo is hereby responsible for theft or direct damage to real or personal property of the vacation rental property as a result of Your acts or omissions. Waivo will pay the lesser of the cost of repairs or the cost to replace the property up to $2,500. This waiver does not negate your responsibilities as a renter for items outside of Waivo’s responsibilities.
This is not an agreement to provide insurance. You are buying a waiver of the security deposit otherwise due as part of Your vacation rental property lease agreement.
II. EXCLUSIONS
This Security Deposit Waiver will not pay for damages or theft resulting from:
1. Acts of God
2. Prior damage, cosmetic damage, or normal wear and tear
3. Theft without a valid police report if over $250
4. Loss of use of the vacation rental property
5. Rodent, termite, infestation, or wild animal
6. Damage to a motorized vehicle
7. Fine art, collectibles, or sets of items
This Waiver will not pay for damage or theft of property owned by You.
This Waiver will not pay for costs associated with odor, debris removal, backups of sewers and drains, landscaping, marring, maintenance, or mechanical breakdown.
III. CONDITIONS
Waivo has the sole authority to determine the nature and extent of damages, necessary repairs, and eligibility for the waiver, and shall exercise that authority in a reasonable manner.
Waivo reserves the right to determine if damage is eligible for reimbursement at actual cash value.
This Waiver will pay for excessive cleaning, as a direct result of damage, over and above the normal cleaning fee. An irreparable stain or spillage is considered damage.
This Waiver is only effective for a one-time single continuous stay, of up to 90 days, for which You purchased the Waiver. It takes effect when You occupy the vacation rental property and terminates when You depart the same vacation rental property.
This Waiver is only effective if any theft or damage is reported to Waivo by You, the property manager, the online travel agent or the owner of the vacation rental property within 14 days of Your departure from the vacation rental property.
Waivo will not respond to damage or theft under $50 US dollars.
If there is a dispute related to these terms, mediation is required before any party may file litigation. In the event of litigation, all parties waive the right to a jury trial.
IV. DEFINITIONS
You, or Your, is the renter of the vacation rental property and includes the renter’s spouse, children and any other person the renter invited on to the vacation rental property during your stay at the vacation rental property.

We had a wonderful stay overall. The house is absolutely beautiful and being right on the beach made the location truly unmatched. Waking up to the ocean and having such easy access to the beach was a huge highlight of our trip. That said, for the price point, a few updates would really elevate the experience even more. Some of the finishes and sofas upstairs could be a bit more comfortable, a few squeaky doors could use attention, along with their downstairs dishwasher. We also really appreciated that the home is pet-friendly, as we were able to bring our dog, which made the stay even more special for us. As a small suggestion, ensuring areas like closets receive extra attention during cleaning between guests with pets would be helpful. Enjoyed this location. This area obviously got hit pretty hard with a hurricane at some point. Still some vacant lots but for the most part everything was good! Great home and communication
Beautiful place, parts of it could use a little updating. Arrived to a clean house and easy check in. Place was perfect for multiple different family and friends. Pool was great and outside areas. Oven was broke when we arrived but we aren’t very picky so just used the other one, just wish we had known that before hand because the maintenance guy said it had been broke for awhile. A great location for our family vacation. From the moment we arrived, the fantastic view of the ocean pulled us to the patio for a closer look. This home is right on the beach! We saw pelicans, seagulls, egrets and dolphins every day and heard the waves at night as we drifted off to sleep. The home had everything we needed for our week - beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, floats and even a canoe! The kitchens were well stocked for meal prep, cooking and service. The large dining area was perfect for dining together. Needless to say, this LARGE home had more than enough space for both joint gatherings and privacy. There are so many decks, patios, and inside sitting areas! Our group consisted of six separate families and there were times we had to ‘hunt’ for each other. This home is also close to shopping, restaurants, a lot of activities and the historic lighthouse. We felt safe walking our dogs around the neighborhood and meeting the neighbors. Everyone was so friendly. The patio was a favorite amongst the group. We would lounge in the sun or shaded area, swim in the pool, go a few steps into the first floor kitchen of the main house for a snack then go right back outside! The patio was also a perfect place to sip a glass of wine and watch the sky at night. Shout out to the cleaning crew. They did a good job!! This is a wonderful vacation home. We had four generations and it was wonderful to all be under the same roof. On previous vacations we have leased homes for our individual families and this private compound was so much better. We all grew up in Florida and really appreciated the amazing views of the ocean from the house. Just fantastic!! We had four generations and it was wonderful to all be under the same roof. On previous vacations we have leased homes for our individual families and this private compound was so much better. We all grew up in Florida and really appreciated the amazing views of the ocean from the house. Just fantastic!! The Host is incredible, TJ was genuinely interested in making sure we had a great stay. We communicated via text and phone calls, they were very quick to respond to any questions. The check in was very easy. The space was very clean and had all the necessities for a few night stay. The only time we needed to contact him at night, he was extremely responsive. There was a storm that created a power surge and we lost power in the house, and TJ was super helpful, he fixed it THE SAME DAY! he sent an electrician, he contacted the electricity company, he was in constant communication with us letting us know when was the estimated time power will be back. He was available day & night for anything we needed, WOW!. The house is great, it was updated beautifully, the swimming pool was awesome and the house had pool toys and amenities for children. The beach access is unbeatable. However, that was the only true highlight of the stay. The photos are miss-leading and need to be updated, the landscaping is overgrown and brings down the appeal of the house from the outside. Also, Outdoor lighting is knocked over in some locations, again, bringing down the look of the property. I know the hurricanes caused significant damage in the area but it is apparent that the house is not well maintained. Also, the makeshift stairs leading down to the beach are a liability and terribly built. The pool was great other than it needing to be cleaned more than twice a week (algae buildup & pumps clogged from sand). The inside of the house clearly has mold (evidence in the vents) and the AC on the main and top floor needs to be serviced as it could not keep up even during the night. We had to use fans across the house to circulate air. The owner needs to have some serious maintenance done. Saltydogs was great to work with but we won’t stay again.Michael C - Posted: 7/5/2023

Overall very good stay. Location is wonderful. Having direct access to the pool and the beach is great. The patio is far and away the best part of the property. The house is large and has plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. One small issue was with cleanliness. One toilet had stains, likely from prior mold. Many of the hvac vents were dusty. It’s an older house and that clearly showed in some areas. Master bedroom did not have a closet or dresser to unpack. 3rd floor shower did not get hot water, only warm. The repair man told us this was because it lacked a reserve water tank and had to do with the distance from the water heater. Salty property manager was outstanding. Always quick to respond to text messages. An air conditioner failed during our stay and it was fixed in less than 4 hours. Overall very good stay. I’d recommend the property primarily because of the location and the outdoor area. Few minor issues with the house but nothing that would prevent a recommendation.Andrew E - Posted: 8/1/2022

This house had plenty of room for 13 of us (four generations) and is in a great location. The house if far enough from the beach public access, so that it stays uncrowded, and the pool is great when you don't want the beach. Rough Week
The property is in a good location with great views but the positive stops there. Day 1-no propane in grill, no beach chairs as advertised, surface clean yes, but overall cleanliness a miss with cobwebs and dust bunnies to name a few. Mngt company did offer to reimburse for propane and beach chairs that I had to buy myself which they did. Master bedroom upstairs is misleading as it has no wall (curtain) and all sounds and smells from living room and kitchen are amplified. Landscaping neglected, overgrown with weeds and house in need of painting as well as several patio pavers broken causing trip hazards. Sliding glass door to pool barely opened due to grit and sand in track. Also, screen at this door doesn't close due handle of door protruding in its path. Day 2-pool begins to turn yellow and pool cleaners that came out same day were rude and told to stay out of it for 12 hours. Day 4-wake up to no water in house and notice from utility company on front door saying water shut off due to failure to pay. Water off for over 4 hours. Mail box was so stuffed (likely with notices from utility) I think the mailman couldn't deliver another piece of mail if they wanted to. Day 5-new pool cleaners show up at 730 am, great wake up call, not and 30 minutes after they leave the pool pump and equipment begin to wail and make noise so unbearable you couldn't sit outside. No one responded to our call so had to shut off pool. Day 6-pool repair people show up and fix. A home that charges these prices should not be neglected or managed this way. I had to make several calls, text, emails thru the week and fix things myself that I didn't enjoy my vacation. Mngt team did send representative out to home to apologize and reimbursed me for my expenses and 1.5 days rent. NO dogs are allowed on the beach outside the house so they can stay in the house but need to be taken down to the dog beach a few miles away to be ON the beach. Also NO open containers on the beach. We are used to Savannah GA and didn't even consider this until an officer made us pour everything out and leave the beach immediately...He was kind enough not to ticket us but BE SMART. This house is perfect for families! Be mindful, whoever stays in the master upstairs can be heard and hears every whisper downstairs so no light sleepers up there. The owner might consider putting glass behind the curtains to help with sound. Also there is no closet for the master so be ready to stay in your suitcase. I hung a 2 light dresses from the curtain rod but I would not recommend hanging anything heavy on it. There are a couple towel hooks in the bathroom we used to hang heavier clothes so that helped. The sunrises were absolutely beautiful. We thoroughly enjoying your boogie boards and sand toys so thank you so much for having those available to guests! The grill and firepit worked great.
