Spacious and economical 3 bedroom near the intracoastal with a garage. This is a quaint homey place two minutes from all the action in Daytona Beach. Clean comfortable and pet friendly steal of a deal for an economical vacation. Close to dining, breweries, bike and walking trails. Enjoy local events while having everything you need-fully stocked kitchen and even space for parking a trailer. Huge screened patio and fenced in yard. Pet friendly w/pet fee paid. Hour to Disney/Universal.

Cute residential area in the quaint town of Holly Hill, just a short walk to the intracoastal and a quick 5 min drive over the bridge to the beach. Walk to dining and pub. Grab a bike and enjoy the riverside trails.

You will want a car, motorcycle, Jeep or bicycle. Or come by boat! Make sure to take a drive on the beach and see what it's like to coast on the coast!

We work really hard to keep the unit fully stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay. We are fun and laid back company and our owners only want to host others that are also fun or laid back. We have done everything we can think of to make this unit an awesome beach retreat and we want you to have the best time ever but we'd love to hear your suggestions, too.

Smoking: We take this very seriously. We don't care what you smoke, just go outside to do it. We don't mess around with this, you will lose your deposit and incur damage fees for us having to have everything (curtains, furniture, etc) cleaned if you smoke anything in the house or if you smoke near doors or windows and the smoke smell gets in the house. It's a non-negotiable so please just go outdoors to smoke and away from the doors. It's Florida so being outside enjoying the sunshine or watching one of our amazing storms can be fun!

Lastly: Everyone at our company (staff and owners) really loves helping people make great vacation memories. We are human and travel too, and we try to look for the good not the bad when vacationing. The point of telling you that is that this is an awesome unit and we work really hard on it, but things can and will happen. We don't know when the microwave will break (if it does we will replace it) or if a Florida palmetto bug will sneak in the house (we are located in Florida which is a jungle..the unit is treated for pests but sometimes they will sneak in and there is nothing we can do about it). Every unit is professionally cleaned prior to check-in but if our cleaners miss something just give us a call and we will send them right back out to fix it. If things like that would bother you, then we may not be the place for you. These are things that we have experienced as well at vacation rentals while travelling and we roll with the punches and have fun. We are not in this business to be a hotel, we have a fun place for guests to stay with friends and family that is fairly priced.. if you are uptight or looking for perfection we aren't the place for you. If you are ready for fun in the sun with friends and family, adorable decor and a management company that will respond if you do happen to have any issues...book away and get ready to vacay! We've been doing this awhile and are just over uptight people that look for reasons to complain when they should be enjoying their beach vacation. We can't wait to welcome fun and happy people to our beach town.

We don't charge a security deposit but instead a small damage waiver which will cover up to $2500 in damage no questions asked. Please note, damage waiver does not cover smoke in house...so please make certain you smoke whatever you smoke outside not near doors/windows. Smoke in unit will result in eviction and a $500 charge to card on file. Please just don't do it.

Damage Waiver Disclaimer:

I. AGREEMENT

On behalf of Salty Dog Vacations, LLC, the party authorized to rent the vacation rental property and the owner of the vacation rental property, Waivo has assumed the responsibility for damages as outlined below and waives Your security deposit up to $2,500, the waiver limit purchased by You, the renter, for your stay at the vacation rental property.

Waivo is hereby responsible for theft or direct damage to real or personal property of the vacation rental property as a result of Your acts or omissions. Waivo will pay the lesser of the cost of repairs or the cost to replace the property up to $2,500. This waiver does not negate your responsibilities as a renter for items outside of Waivo’s responsibilities.

This is not an agreement to provide insurance. You are buying a waiver of the security deposit otherwise due as part of Your vacation rental property lease agreement.

II. EXCLUSIONS

This Security Deposit Waiver will not pay for damages or theft resulting from:

1. Acts of God

2. Prior damage, cosmetic damage, or normal wear and tear

3. Theft without a valid police report if over $250

4. Loss of use of the vacation rental property

5. Rodent, termite, infestation, or wild animal

6. Damage to a motorized vehicle

7. Fine art, collectibles, or sets of items

This Waiver will not pay for damage or theft of property owned by You.

This Waiver will not pay for costs associated with odor, debris removal, backups of sewers and drains, landscaping, marring, maintenance, or mechanical breakdown.

III. CONDITIONS

Waivo has the sole authority to determine the nature and extent of damages, necessary repairs, and eligibility for the waiver, and shall exercise that authority in a reasonable manner.

Waivo reserves the right to determine if damage is eligible for reimbursement at actual cash value.

This Waiver will pay for excessive cleaning, as a direct result of damage, over and above the normal cleaning fee. An irreparable stain or spillage is considered damage.

This Waiver is only effective for a one-time single continuous stay, of up to 90 days, for which You purchased the Waiver. It takes effect when You occupy the vacation rental property and terminates when You depart the same vacation rental property.

This Waiver is only effective if any theft or damage is reported to Waivo by You, the property manager, the online travel agent or the owner of the vacation rental property within 14 days of Your departure from the vacation rental property.

Waivo will not respond to damage or theft under $50 US dollars.

If there is a dispute related to these terms, mediation is required before any party may file litigation. In the event of litigation, all parties waive the right to a jury trial.

This place was perfect for us! It was very clean, had everything we needed, has lots of space to move around in, the beds were comfortable and it’s in a great location! It’s a short walk to the riverfront, a short drive to restaurants, attractions, grocery stores, etc., and we received very quick responses from the host whenever we had questions. We will definitely stay here again when visiting this area.

The house smelt when we got there there was roaches everywhere even in the refrigerator/freezer. The ac was not able to cool the house down for hours, the dryer was not working. There was no extra sheets to change although we rented the place for a month. The dryer was replaced after being there for almost 2 weeks. We were told they would send the exterminator for the roaches but we saw no signs of him being there. Overall the place was ok.

We also are sorry we could not be flexible changing your checkout date by 15 days after you had already been at the house for weeks. Regarding the AC, during the peak summer heat in August, air conditioning systems in Florida generally cannot cool effectively if set below 72 degrees. However, when left at 74, they work efficiently and keep the home comfortable. We encourage guests to maintain this setting during extremely hot days for the best performance. We regret that you encountered issues with pests and the dryer. Pest control did come out to spray during your stay, though we’re sorry it wasn’t more noticeable at the time. The dryer was replaced as quickly as possible, and we understand the delay was frustrating. We truly value your feedback, as it helps us continue improving. The fence is broken in the back yard, neighbors were very rude about my dogs, the home was supposed to be handicap accessible but it has steps everywhere definitely not easy for someone that uses a walker/wheelchair. Every dish in the kitchen cabinet was dirty and had food crusted on it. There were roaches in the kitchen. Also for the fence being broken my dog escaped multiple times.

Easy access to the beach and daytona international speedway.
Only inconvenience was the lounge located on the corner of the street attracting bikes in the evenings with loud noice and being near the train tracks so for families with young children to keep in mind.

The location is great. A short drive to the beach. About a 10-15 min drive to Daytona international speedway if you’re looking for a place to stay for the races. The beds were very comfortable. Definitely worth what we paid for it. Would stay here again

Interior of house was fine except the electricity was faulty. Needed to turn off lights and keep restarting washer. There is wi-fi however the wi-fi info was inaccurate. We found accurate info on the wifi router. No hair dryer (just an empty box). Couch needs to be updated, restuffed or replaced, the seat pads are worn terribly. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable although bedding is a bit worn down. Pots and pans need replacing too, non-stick surface is scratched making them toxic. Hot water kettle was very dirty inside so we opted not to use it. Host was very proactive and helpful communicating activities in the area. Area did not appear safe at first however we had no issues with neighbors or neighborhood.

very nice house. you have to access the back terrace thru the bedroom. kitchen had ample space. bedrooms are huge! house has a lot of space. would rent again.

Had an amazing stay here on very short notice. Property was available and ready immediately. On arrival it was just as advertised and extremely clean. Even facilitated the return of a left behind wallet! Would definitely stay here again!

House was very clean and beautiful. Check in and check out was super easy efficient. Drive way is steep but luckily drive way had enough space for us to park on the side of the road. Rebooking next year!
