We had a great stay! We appreciated the beach towels, wagon, beach chairs and toys! Everything was clean and comfortable. Communication was great. We loved this house so much! The location for us was great as we prefer a quieter location. It was a short walk to the beach. The layout was perfect and all one level. The outside pool area and fire pit were amazing. The outside shower was great for returning from the beach. Yard is fully fenced and was great for our dog. We did have a few issues come up while we were there and they were addressed and fixed right away. Both of the maintenance men that came out were very nice and completed the work quickly. Salty Dog responded quicky and this is the second home we have rented from them. The only drawback to this home for us was there were not TVs in the guest bedrooms. There was only one in the master bedroom, and it stopped working during the week and was unable to be replaced. Our guests like to watch TV when they lay down for bed. Also, the patio door to the pool in the master bedroom did not open either which was not a huge issue, and I forgot to let the homeowners know. Loved it!Wendy R - Posted: 9/4/2025

The Salty Dog team are amazing with communication and making you feel relaxed and comfortable.
Our home was so cozy we didn't want to leave. Wish we would of had warmer weather to enjoy the poo/beachl and pool/beach toys more but we can't control mother nature. We're appreciative of all the kitchen amenities as we were able to cook and grill so we didn't have to eat out so much. The home had everything we needed.

Our family loved the Sandcastle Harbor home!! My sister lives in Daytona and invited us for Thanksgiving. Since both families have adult children, boyfriends, and grandchildren we opted to rent a home near the beach!! This home was right accross the street from the beach with very easy access. They had beach chairs, a wagon and toys for children in the garage. The pool is beautiful and heated which was a pleasant surprise for November. There’s a beautiful fire pit that we enjoyed also. The home was comfortable for us to hang out with the grand babies and family visitors!! The inside is spacious and cozy with open space. The outdoor shower was a hit especially because it had hot water!! My daughter & the guys all loved it and placed their toiletries on the cute shelves!! The kitchen has all new appliances and was fully stocked with spices, dishes, even paper plates although we brought our own since they are not usually available at vacation homes. Since both families have adult children, boyfriends, and grandchildren we opted to rent a home near the beach!! This home was right accross the street from the beach with very easy access. They had beach chairs, a wagon and toys for children in the garage. The pool is beautiful and heated which was a pleasant surprise for November. There’s a beautiful fire pit that we enjoyed also. The home was comfortable for us to hang out with the grand babies and family visitors!! The inside is spacious and cozy with open space. The outdoor shower was a hit especially because it had hot water!! My daughter & the guys all loved it and placed their toiletries on the cute shelves!! The kitchen has all new appliances and was fully stocked with spices, dishes, even paper plates although we brought our own since they are not usually available at vacation homes.
