Indulge in stunning ocean views at your very own private beachfront retreat!

Enjoy two beautiful homes, a large sparkling pool, a sunrise deck, a cozy fire pit, and private beach access, all reserved exclusively for you.

Catch a rocket launch right from the deck or unwind in style with everything you need for the perfect coastal getaway.

Outdoor highlights include a private pool, sunrise deck, and fire pit for relaxing evenings by the ocean.

This home is a family beach house. While we keep it nice, it is not brand new and we like it that way. For us, it's a cozy beach home...it's not perfect and if you are looking for perfection we aren't the spot for you. If you want family fun, funky decor, a pool on the ocean and direct beach access from your backyard and have a happy spirit that enjoys vacation and likes to laugh and have fun...you are the perfect guest for our home.

Important note about the hot tub:

The hot tub is operated through an app controlled by the owner. To use it, simply text the property manager, and they will turn it on or off remotely for you.

Please note: While the hot tub is available, it is located directly on the beach where salt air and weather can cause issues, so it is not guaranteed as part of the rental. Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds if the hot tub becomes unavailable during your stay.

Guest Access:

You will receive an access code 24 hours prior to check-in for easy self-entry.

Early Check in/Late Checkout $65 per hour. Please reach out to the host for availability.

Things to Know Before You Book:

✅ Pet-Friendly!

Pup fee: $25 per pet, per day (maximum 2 pets)

Please adhere to our pet policies and be respectful of the space.

✅ Provided Essentials:

3 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom

1 roll of paper towels

Hand soap

Dish soap (small bottle)

1 trash bag per bin

3 dishwasher pods and 3 laundry pods

**Nearby Jet Ski, Beach Equipment and Watersport facilities and activity rentals are available in our area. However these are not directly provided by  Salty Dog Vacations.**

✅ Security Deposit:

Photo ID and credit card required for a $500 security deposit pre-authorization.

It’s a hold, not a charge — unless damage or missing items are found.

The authorization is released within 48 hours of check-out.

✅ Parking:

Driveway parking is available for guest use.

✅ No Smoking:

This is a strictly non-smoking property indoors.

Smoking indoors will result in forfeiture of your full security deposit.

Florida weather is beautiful — please smoke outside and dispose of cigarette butts properly.

✅ No House Parties or Events:

Quiet, respectful enjoyment only, please.

All additional guests must be pre-approved by the host.

Checkout Instructions:

(Thanks for helping us turn the home around quickly for future guests!)

Strip all used beds and towels; pile them neatly in each bedroom.

Turn off all lights; fans can remain on.

Turn off TVs, coffee makers, and other electronics.

Please make sure dirty dishes have been cleaned.

Return all beach gear, books, games, etc., and rinse sandy items outdoors.

Empty all outdoor ashtrays and dispose of cigarette butts properly.

Remove all food from the refrigerator and place trash in outdoor bins.

Trash pickup: Sunday night and Wednesday night.

Leave keys in the lockbox and remotes/passes on the kitchen counter.

$50 fee for lost keys

Wipe down countertops and leave the home as you found it.

Set A/C to 78°F before departing.

Drive safely — and come back soon!

This Waiver will not pay for damage or theft of property owned by You.

This Waiver will not pay for costs associated with odor, debris removal, backups of sewers and drains, landscaping, marring, maintenance, or mechanical breakdown.

III. CONDITIONS

Waivo has the sole authority to determine the nature and extent of damages, necessary repairs, and eligibility for the waiver, and shall exercise that authority in a reasonable manner.

Waivo reserves the right to determine if damage is eligible for reimbursement at actual cash value.

This Waiver will pay for excessive cleaning, as a direct result of damage, over and above the normal cleaning fee. An irreparable stain or spillage is considered damage.

This Waiver is only effective for a one-time single continuous stay, of up to 90 days, for which You purchased the Waiver. It takes effect when You occupy the vacation rental property and terminates when You depart the same vacation rental property.

This Waiver is only effective if any theft or damage is reported to Waivo by You, the property manager, the online travel agent or the owner of the vacation rental property within 14 days of Your departure from the vacation rental property.

Waivo will not respond to damage or theft under $50 US dollars.

If there is a dispute related to these terms, mediation is required before any party may file litigation. In the event of litigation, all parties waive the right to a jury trial.

IV. DEFINITIONS

You, or Your, is the renter of the vacation rental property and includes the renter’s spouse, children and any other person the renter invited on to the vacation rental property during your stay at the vacation rental property.

This place was wonderful. Great for a multi generational family vacation. The house is wonderful. Pool, hot tub, fire pit, and deck were all amazing. The hosts were very quick to respond to any questions or minor issues we had. Beautiful place to stay. Will definitely come back.

The house is nice. The beach is beautiful. Unfortunately the weather was too cold to enjoy the beach or the pool but we loved having coffee in the morning while looking out toward the pool and beach. Could hear the waves at night. Nice and relaxing place. A few good restaurants in walking distance. Can walk to a lot of places to eat or get supplies.

I absolutely loved the huge deck overlooking the ocean — almost as much as my dog did! The house itself was spotless, spacious, and filled with adorable coastal décor that made it feel both luxurious and homey. You can tell the owners truly love this home. Learning the story about how they honeymooned here over 50 years ago and then bought this house for their 50 year anniversary as a place for others to enjoy made my stay feel even more special. Great beach house for our family. The heated pool was wonderful and we enjoyed being right on the beach. The carriage house was great for Grandma to have her own space away from the chaos. Walking distance to some fun shops and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would comeback. The rental agency dealt with our minor problem quickly and efficiently!

So this is a little tricky. Overall, my family did enjoy the stay and would stay here again. Plenty of space and being right on the ocean is nice. With that said, for what we paid I would have expected better. The beds were terribly uncomfortable, the reclining couch would not recline and the pool was dirty upon arrival. They did come and clean the pool so kudos to that, but again, for what we paid to stay there, I would have expected more. Overall, out of 5, I would have rated this a 4.

Hi William! Thank you for your feedback and we are glad you will be coming back to visit us. Just a few quick things: 1. We just replaced most of the mattresses in the home two weeks ago so can you let us know which mattresses were uncomfortable and we can see what is going on. We ordered mattresses that we have always gotten great reviews on at other properties so this is concerning and we want to address it as soon as possible. 2. We are so sorry the pool was not to your standard when you arrived. As we put in the listing, the pool is cleaned weekly on Mondays and during the week sand from the beach may get into the pool, so we understand how this ca be frustrating. Sadly, we have not been successful in finding a pool cleaner that can be there for each check-in but we are trying! And 3. We have replaced the recliners three times in a year and guests continue to damage them so we disengaged the recline. However, we can see from your perspective that when you see the reclining latch and it doesn't recline that can be frustrating so we are going to remove the recliner couch and replace it with a regular couch when there is a break in rentals. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to earn 5 stars when you come back to visit!

Decent place. We enjoyed it. Only bad things was furniture is very uncomfortable. Bathrooms had mold in them. We had a dead cockroach in the kitchen.

Seaside
With eight adults in the homes we used all the beds. Only half were good. I had to clear the decorative stuff off the tables so that we could eat and off other surfaces so that we could put our toiletries, toys, dog supplies and food somewhere. All appliances worked. Water was hot. TV’s and WiFi was great. Security was good. Getting up and down the steep front steps was scarey. It was hard to use the railing with decorative stuff on the steps. Upholstered furniture was old and worn. Recliner sofa didn’t recline. Sofa bed in apartment was broken and had be fixed. Curtains in apartment didn’t close completely or were absent letting light through. Ensuit bathroom needs major upgrade to fix water leaks, rust, broken floor

Wonderful!!
We absolutely loved staying here. The house is even better than the pictures show. Any questions we had were handled quickly by management. Pool was clean and hot tub worked great! The deck is perfect right by the beach! The property was very quiet at night. Having both houses made it great to be able to spread everyone out with plenty of room. Better views than the pictures can show
This was a great place to stay with different aged family members. Our group of 12 had plenty of room to get together and plenty of room to stay away. Hot tub was hot air conditioning was cold awesome pool, private beachfront deck and fully stocked with everything you need to boogie board on the waves sit on the beach, play in the pool tons of seating excellent beds, clean towels, hot showers. I’m sure I’m forgetting something but you won’t be disappointed.

Great home and good location. Krista was always available if we needed anything. TV was out in spare home and they replaced it the day we checked in. Great location! Amazing view of the ocean from the house and the second guest house! Host was very responsive once we got a number to communicate with. Perfect location for a couple families to share with the separate space (or family plus in laws!). WiFi was pretty spotty in the guest house but we didn’t spend much time there, but did make it impossible to use our video monitor once the kids went to bed and we wanted to be at the big house. Close to restaurants and shops and anything you could want. Or just spend the entire time at the pool or on the beach as we did!

Amazing location & Great accommodations!
We had a 7 night stay and we loved every bit of it! There were 14 of us, ranging from 6-67, and no one was disappointed! We loved having the beach just steps away, and having the pool & hot tub as well! The A/C was on point and definitely kept us nice and cold 🙂 Overall, this was a fantastic experience! We come to Ormond often, and definitely hope to visit this property again as well!

This property is everything it says and more. We have found our perfect spot for vacations. We lo Ed the house, the pool, the fire pit and the beach in your backdoor! Can't ask.for.anytjing better. Everything you need is right there. We usually dine out at night but ended up staying in because the pool is the perfect spot to cool off and enjoy dinner on the deck after a hot day at the beach..Krista is amazing and gets right back to you if you need anything or have a question.

Awesome beach house
This beach house was all we could have asked for. The house was clean, the beds/bedding were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to make family meals. The pool/spa area was a bonus plus the deck overlooking the beach was a great morning coffee place. The beach was a few steps away and was not crowded. I would whole heartedly recommend this house.

The house is great. 11/10. The location of the house is pretty perfect. It’s about 15 mins from Daytona beach. We had 16 people, 13 cars and 28 foot trailer and was able to park in the driveway perfectly. I am definitely looking forward to staying year, if it is available again

Pretty much perfect.
This was our second stay at this property, first stay coming way back in 2006. The new owners have decorated the property very nicely, and with more updates to come it will only get better. We had a total of 10 for this trip and this property was able to accommodate everyone with room to spare. What more could you ask for than a beachfront house with a pool AND hot tub? Just a perfect location. We had one small issue with the cable when we arrived. The property manager was quick to respond and had the issue fixed within 30 minutes.
