Leave your troubles behind at this updated 2 bed 2 bath ocean view condo in Ormond-by-the-Sea, a quaint and relaxing beach town just north of Daytona. Sip a cocktail poolside or play in the sand, enjoy a jog or ride a bike on the beautiful beaches.**There will be construction on and around the building and the building across the way through May 2026** Patio furniture will need to remain inside the unit until after 3:30 pm and on weekends.

Steps to shopping and local food faves, this fully stocked unit will make you never want to leave the Florida sunshine. Watch dolphins play from the 5th floor balcony and soak up the sun. Easy drive to Disney and St. Augustine.

**Nearby Jet Ski, Beach Equipment and Watersport facilities and activity rentals are available in our area. However these are not directly provided by Salty Dog Vacations.**

Damage Waiver Disclaimer:

I. AGREEMENT

On behalf of Salty Dog Vacations, LLC, the party authorized to rent the vacation rental property and the owner of the vacation rental property, Waivo has assumed the responsibility for damages as outlined below and waives Your security deposit up to $2,500, the waiver limit purchased by You, the renter, for your stay at the vacation rental property.

Waivo is hereby responsible for theft or direct damage to real or personal property of the vacation rental property as a result of Your acts or omissions. Waivo will pay the lesser of the cost of repairs or the cost to replace the property up to $2,500. This waiver does not negate your responsibilities as a renter for items outside of Waivo’s responsibilities.

This is not an agreement to provide insurance. You are buying a waiver of the security deposit otherwise due as part of Your vacation rental property lease agreement.

II. EXCLUSIONS

This Security Deposit Waiver will not pay for damages or theft resulting from:

1. Acts of God

2. Prior damage, cosmetic damage, or normal wear and tear

3. Theft without a valid police report if over $250

4. Loss of use of the vacation rental property

5. Rodent, termite, infestation, or wild animal

6. Damage to a motorized vehicle

7. Fine art, collectibles, or sets of items

This Waiver will not pay for damage or theft of property owned by You.

This Waiver will not pay for costs associated with odor, debris removal, backups of sewers and drains, landscaping, marring, maintenance, or mechanical breakdown.

III. CONDITIONS

Waivo has the sole authority to determine the nature and extent of damages, necessary repairs, and eligibility for the waiver, and shall exercise that authority in a reasonable manner.

Waivo reserves the right to determine if damage is eligible for reimbursement at actual cash value.

This Waiver will pay for excessive cleaning, as a direct result of damage, over and above the normal cleaning fee. An irreparable stain or spillage is considered damage.

This Waiver is only effective for a one-time single continuous stay, of up to 90 days, for which You purchased the Waiver. It takes effect when You occupy the vacation rental property and terminates when You depart the same vacation rental property.

This Waiver is only effective if any theft or damage is reported to Waivo by You, the property manager, the online travel agent or the owner of the vacation rental property within 14 days of Your departure from the vacation rental property.

Waivo will not respond to damage or theft under $50 US dollars.

If there is a dispute related to these terms, mediation is required before any party may file litigation. In the event of litigation, all parties waive the right to a jury trial.

IV. DEFINITIONS

You, or Your, is the renter of the vacation rental property and includes the renter’s spouse, children and any other person the renter invited on to the vacation rental property during your stay at the vacation rental property.

Worst vacation!!! Woken up every morning 7:30am with construction noise. Balcony barred shut. Positive: The apartment is conveniently located right on the beach and across the street from Publix and other stores. Many restaurants are nearby. Negative: BEWARE FALSE ADVERTISING!!! We booked this condo for 8 days and had a very disappointing stay. There was construction going on. It was not listed on the ad and we were never told. They started making noise at 7:30am 7 days a week, and were working on our balcony and bedroom window every morning. Balcony was unusable most of the week which was very disappointing to me since my favorite thing to do on vacation is read a book on the balcony while listening to the sound of the ocean. The pool area was noisy with the boom lift in use 7 days a week. The smell of paint could not be avoided all day Thursday. Salty Dog Vacations, the property manager, and the owners were unwilling to compensate us appropriately for our inconvenience due to false advertising. They claimed it was stated on the Salty Dog listing but acknowledged it did not transfer to the Booking.com ad. They said they would follow up with their IT, but offered no compensation other than $187 given to me once I signed a non-disparaging agreement stating I would not leave a bad review. If I did, they would sue me for $10k. I didn't take it and will tell everyone BUYER BEWARE!!! Booking.com reviewed the case and has provided me with the compensation the GREEDY owners would not provide. I would have rented elsewhere if I had been informed about ongoing construction.

Aside from the roaches this place was great. There are 2 identical buildings at this location and the instructions were not clear which building our unit was in. The location was great lots to do and right on the beach. My family was not comfortable staying here with the amount of roaches that we saw. Salty was helpful with the cancelation and refund process, after they tried to normalize the presence of the roaches.

Regarding the roaches, while Florida’s tropical climate can make occasional sightings more common, we absolutely understand that it can still be unsettling. We do maintain regular pest control at this property, and while we would definitely not say the unit was infested, it has since been treated multiple times. The most recent guests have not seen any pests. If we had been made aware of the issue during your stay, we could have sent someone immediately to treat and inspect the unit. We’re glad we were able to assist you promptly with the cancellation and refund process once you decided not to stay. We appreciate your comments, as they help us improve the guest experience, and we hope we might have the chance to welcome you to a different Salty Dog property in the future.

Beautiful view from a beautiful condo

We stayed at this beautiful condo with 2 of our chikdren over spring break. Everything was very easy to fund, check in and get situated. The view from the condo balcony was stunning. Pool area was very well kept and nice to have and beach access was so close and convenient. There were chairs and beach toys and boogie boards, ect. right there in the ynit for guest use and that was very nice. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

We had a great time at the Salty Dog Condo in Ormond Beach Florida!! The Condo's location was great, right on the beach! There was a Publix right across the street making last minute runs to the store very convenient. The drive to local restaurants and Daytona Beach was direct and less then 20 minutes away. The view from the balcony was great, we really enjoyed sitting and listening to the waves. The rooms were as pictured with a comfortable King size bed in the master bedroom and a bunk bed with a full size bed on the bottom. The condo provided everything we needed to be able to cook meals while in the condo. The condo also provided a couple of beach chairs and an umbrella along with some beach toys for the kids to play with. The pool area was really nice as well, we enjoyed sitting by the pool while the kids swim. We would definitely consider returning to the Salty Dog.

Wonderful apartment for a a family beach vacation. Positive: The apartment is perfectly equipped for a longer family vacation. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, baking, etc with loads of dishes and cutlery, pots, pans. toaster, blender … Very spacious and well furnished apartment. Host service reacted very quickly and professionally to all of our enquiries, made a few very minor repairs immediately on request (replaced lightbulbs and batteries in a remote). Hope to come back again soon. Negative: It was unclear that the washing machine is not in the apartment but in a central laundry room for the complex. Machines are large and clear but the first 3-4 days the app you need to pay for the machines did not work - machines were offline.

Einer der schönsten Unterkünfte Positive: Wunderschöne Unterkunft. Es war alles vorhanden, was man für einen Strandurlaub braucht. Die Räume waren sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war vorbildlich und sehr schnell. Negative: Einzig beim Checkout hätten wir uns ein wenig mehr Flexibilität gewünscht. Wenigstens eine Stunde später war bisher in jedem Hotel ohne Aufpreis möglich. Hier leider nicht.

Enjoyed our time here. Great pool, nice quiet non-driving beach. We saw the mullet run and a shark enjoying the feast. Comfortable condo. Rental management was very communicative, onsite maintenance was very helpful. Note: washer/dryer is Not IN the unit, there is a pay laundry room onsite. Would stay here again.

We rented the condo for Jeep Beach. It was close to all of the events but far enough away from the craziness of Daytona.
The host company is on top of making your stay perfect! They are very fast to respond when needed.
The condo is conveniently located directly across the street from Publix, a 7-11 and other great shopping options. There are some great restaurants less than 5 minstrel away.
The unit boasts a beautiful view of the ocean from the private balcony. We opened the bedroom slider and listened to the waves all night. It is well equipped with just about everything you need from cooking supplies, games, beach chairs, toys, etc.
We had a wonderful time and hope to be back again very soon.

We had an issue with hot water, and the owners came over immediately to rectify it. The pool was awesome. We appreciated the cooler that was provided. This was our second time staying with salty dog management, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for wonderful accommodations. Communication with the management team was terrific, they are very responsive. We appreciated them accommodating our request to check in a couple hours early.

Girls trip

The property was great and very well maintained. The Condo was very kept and clean. The only issue we had was the air conditioning was locked and we're not able to drop the air below 75. We where so hot at night and sweaty. Called the property manager and they said they would send someone up in a few minutes. They never showed. :(

Stop looking and just book this condo NOW!! The beachfront views are amazing. And even the sunset from the top floor which you stay at! The pool was so clean and perfect temperature for the weather we had! The beach was also very nice and even though it’s next to a public access it wasn’t even that busy usually! It was so nice not to have to buy beach equipment. All we did was bring a wagon through the airport and they supplied the rest(chairs, towels, boogie boards, umbrella, noodles, sand toys!) Theres also a lot of board games for kids and adults. The only downfall was the laundry being on the first floor not inside the unit. But if you’re okay with that then this will be the perfect place to stay without being in the hustle and bustle of Daytona but still close enough to do so many things!!

It was so nice not to have to buy beach equipment. All we did was bring a wagon through the airport and they supplied the rest(chairs, towels, boogie boards, umbrella, noodles, sand toys!) Theres also a lot of board games for kids and adults. The only downfall was the laundry being on the first floor not inside the unit. But if you’re okay with that then this will be the perfect place to stay without being in the hustle and bustle of Daytona but still close enough to do so many things!!

Great location, convenient to everything in Ormond beach. Beach is beautiful and not crowded. Condo has a nice view of the ocean and was everything we needed for a few days!

Such a beautiful spot to share exquisite sunrises with those you love!
Sunrises from the master suite to basking in the morning sun on the balcony, walking on the beach to visiting nearby eateries and small beach towns. Everything was just perfect!

5th floor condo on the beach

We had a great stay for just over 5 weeks. The unit met all our expectations. We had a faulty toaster when we arrived which Krista replaced with a new unit. Folks were friendly in the building. Communication was timely as there were a couple of days where maintenance was required on the pool and plumbing system. We were given timely notifications of these events. All in all a great place to stay.

This was a relaxing, soothing vacation stay with extended family for a reunion. the condo was in such a lovely location Positive: Great location;, clean, well-stocked facility with everything needed for a comfortable stay. We had a well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. the view of the ocean was very nice, and the sound of the waves even better. Negative: I can’t think of a thing I would change.
