Wake up to panoramic beach views & watch the sunrise over the ocean from this direct beachfront getaway located in the peaceful Ormond-By-The-Sea community. This no-drive beach area makes for an ideal setting for families & all! The home is beautifully updated, stylishly decorated & sits right on the beach with a natural green dune & stairless boardwalk to the sandy beach. Enjoy the Wheeleez beach cart to easily tote items to and from the beach. Conveniently located within 20min of Daytona & Flagler.
There are two bedrooms both with a king bed and a third space with a queen cabinet bed. There are 4 smart TVs. The house sleeps six, comfortably.
Located on the beachside of Ormond Beach, locally known as Ormond-By-The-Sea. There is a shopping plaza just 3 minutes south of the property that provides Publix Super Market w/ Liquor Store, Tanning Salon, Barber Shop, Dollar Store, Dining & more!
Within walking & biking distance of local amenities. You will want motor-transportation to get to nearby destinations. Bicycles & Surfboard rentals are nearby.

For what I paid for (4) nights, I didn’t enjoy the smell, pet hair/dander that my son is allergic to, the empty propane tank, and full trash can. The WiFi didn’t work at all for me or guests, had to leave a day earlier and lose money/time off. We do want to note that this is a pet-friendly property, which is clearly advertised in the listing. While we take great care to ensure our properties are thoroughly cleaned after each stay and there is no animal smell, guests should be aware that pets are welcome here. Regarding the Wi-Fi, we haven’t had any reported issues, but if we had known you were experiencing trouble during your stay, we could have sent someone out to take a look and help get you connected. We’re sorry for the inconvenience with the propane tank and trash, had we been informed we would have brought you a new tank and removed any trash from the trash cans. Salty Dog itself was phenomenal to book with. They were beyond responsive and fair. The home's pros far outweigh the cons, but there is some room for improvement considering the premium pricing. Pros: Extremely well stocked with Everything+ inside and out including firewood, candle, spices, coffee, ice, towels, outdoor furnishings, beach chairs/toys/umbrellas, fabulous beach view and very private beach, incredible sun rises, quiet dog-friendly street & beach, outdoor shower, cold AC, Hot showers, extra blankets, pillows, washer/dryer, TV's in every room. Cons: trashcan full and not emptied outside, indoor furniture very worn, dirty cold air return vents, cannot see #'s on door lock, broken shades and towel bar, no fan in main full bath and bathroom very small, broken hose and spigot.Diane H - Posted: 4/7/2025

a great spot to get away! very open views of both the beach & the sky right outside the front door. which is beautiful day & night. the open windows makes it easy to sit & enjoy inside as well. the beds were great, the showers were great (even the one outside) the beach was beautiful & covered in vines & flowers at the dunes. Beautiful property, unbeatable location
This was our first time using VRBO and we couldn't be happier. The location is amazing and the home is well appointed with everything needed to enjoy the beach. Chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, toys, and more were in the two large outdoor storage bins. The outdoor shower with hot and cold water was great too. Our family of 4 fit comfortably inside. The kitchen had all of the appliances and dishes you would need. The refrigerator produces a TON of ice which was great. There a smart TVs in each room but we barely watched TV due to the ease of enjoying the beach. The home has three AC units. It was hard to keep a consistent temp throughout the home but to be expected when converting a garage and sun room into living spaces. Not a big deal IMO. Full size washer and dryer are very nice to have. The only issue we had was with the dish washer. It did not work at all and would run for hours despite not being on. Weird but I did let the property manager know and it will likely be fixed but that did make it so that dishes needed to be done by hand. Overall I would stay here again. The location is the best part. Being at the end of the road right on the beach is wonderful. You can sit out in the morning with coffee in one of the many chairs. the 45 second walk from the beach to the front door is so nice. From the moment we walked in we were so pleased with this cozy oceanfront home. The productive use of space was such a plus and the furnishings were comfortable and tasteful! The beds were comfy and the master bed has an option for adjusting the head and foot of the bed for more comfort! The property was very well maintained and the kitchen was the best stocked location I have ever rented! The AC was very effective even during a hot Florida summer. I expected it to be warm in the room which had been an adapted garage, but it was pleasantly cool and very comfortably decorated. We adored the wonderful lounge chairs and rockers on the back patio for relaxing by the ocean and enjoying the view and the breeze! There is partial shade there which was a welcome surprise! Everything one could need was available and then some and I was so pleased with the shower facilities, both indoor and outdoor! Sunrise from the comfort of your couch, the patio is 50' from the beach and the bridge over the dune is right at the corner of the property. The house was very clean and recently remodeled. There is a small vacuum, but I bought a Swiffer and left it there, it's quicker for daily cleaning. We found everything we needed for cooking and storing food, except a pitcher, so I picked one of those up and left it in the pantry. We had a great experience and really loved the house and location. We will definitely be calling Salty Dog when we travel down next year. Sadly, we made it home just in time to shovel a foot of snow and watch the Bill's lose again!
