Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Enjoy this oceanfront condo with your own private balcony. Nestled between the Famous Daytona Beaches and the Historic Ponce Inlet. Whether getting away for the weekend or working remotely this condo a perfect spot. Sorry no trailer parking allowed at this building.

***Due to the damage incurred in the recent hurricanes Ian & Nicole, at this condominium, the pool and beach access is closed and inoperable at this time. We have not received a re-opening date yet.***The balcony is not available for use***

Cute unit in an ocean front building overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and beach. On site parking and easy access. Fully furnished and stocked.

Guests will be provided a door code at 8pm the night prior to check-in.

Located in the heart of Daytona Beach Shores with easy access to ocean, fishing, surfing, shopping, dining and entertainment. You may also enjoy attractions in the area such as: surfing, live music, fishing, boating or enjoying the speedway. Boat rentals and charter to disappearing island or canoe & Kayak rentals. Navigate down the intercoastal or Spruce creek River.

Ample chances to see many of the wildlife animals such as dolphins, manatee, allegators, fish, turtles and more. plenty of fishing areas and bird watching towers.

You will most likely want to have a car but there places you can walk to as well.

Damage Waiver Disclaimer:

I. AGREEMENT

On behalf of Salty Dog Vacations, LLC, the party authorized to rent the vacation rental property and the owner of the vacation rental property, Waivo has assumed the responsibility for damages as outlined below and waives Your security deposit up to $2,500, the waiver limit purchased by You, the renter, for your stay at the vacation rental property.

Waivo is hereby responsible for theft or direct damage to real or personal property of the vacation rental property as a result of Your acts or omissions. Waivo will pay the lesser of the cost of repairs or the cost to replace the property up to $2,500. This waiver does not negate your responsibilities as a renter for items outside of Waivo’s responsibilities.

This is not an agreement to provide insurance. You are buying a waiver of the security deposit otherwise due as part of Your vacation rental property lease agreement.

II. EXCLUSIONS

This Security Deposit Waiver will not pay for damages or theft resulting from:

1. Acts of God

2. Prior damage, cosmetic damage, or normal wear and tear

3. Theft without a valid police report if over $250

4. Loss of use of the vacation rental property

5. Rodent, termite, infestation, or wild animal

6. Damage to a motorized vehicle

7. Fine art, collectibles, or sets of items

This Waiver will not pay for damage or theft of property owned by You.

This Waiver will not pay for costs associated with odor, debris removal, backups of sewers and drains, landscaping, marring, maintenance, or mechanical breakdown.

III. CONDITIONS

Waivo has the sole authority to determine the nature and extent of damages, necessary repairs, and eligibility for the waiver, and shall exercise that authority in a reasonable manner.

Waivo reserves the right to determine if damage is eligible for reimbursement at actual cash value.

This Waiver will pay for excessive cleaning, as a direct result of damage, over and above the normal cleaning fee. An irreparable stain or spillage is considered damage.

This Waiver is only effective for a one-time single continuous stay, of up to 90 days, for which You purchased the Waiver. It takes effect when You occupy the vacation rental property and terminates when You depart the same vacation rental property.

This Waiver is only effective if any theft or damage is reported to Waivo by You, the property manager, the online travel agent or the owner of the vacation rental property within 14 days of Your departure from the vacation rental property.

Waivo will not respond to damage or theft under $50 US dollars.

If there is a dispute related to these terms, mediation is required before any party may file litigation. In the event of litigation, all parties waive the right to a jury trial.

IV. DEFINITIONS

You, or Your, is the renter of the vacation rental property and includes the renter’s spouse, children and any other person the renter invited on to the vacation rental property during your stay at the vacation rental property.

We had a wonderful trip. The condo was nice but there are a few things that need to be known. Condo is under construction. This is an older building. They are working on redoing everything. There is no balcony access right not. Also you only get one parking pass. We were not told this and had two cars with no where to park one without worrying about it getting towed. Other than that the condo is nice but small. The tv went out and toilet was not working but within 20 minutes they had someone there fixing it, which was great. Salty Dog is very responsive. I’m sure when the balcony’s are done, we’d love to stay there again. Great access to everything.

The building is currently under large construction which would have been nice to know before booking. Lots of workers in and out of building all day. The blinds in the small room next to the living room are missing and broken so the sun was very bright early in the morning. The beach chairs are either broken or super rusted so we opted for the beach rentals that run about $50 a day. The place is in a great area and has amazing views from the balcony. The cleaning company that was hired didn't clean the floors and there were several hairs in both bathrooms & tubs. When we informed the host she was very responsive and wanted to take action right away to make it right so, we appreciated that. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

I had a great stay at this hotel-style Airbnb right on Daytona Beach. The location was unbeatable , just steps from the sand and ocean! The host was fantastic, with excellent communication and very helpful during the check-in process, which made everything smooth and stress-free. While I wasn’t a fan of the actual building itself ,it felt a bit outdated — the unit was clean and comfortable, and the convenience of being right on the beach made up for it. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to others looking for a beachfront stay with a responsive and helpful host.

photos are as listed. Beds were comfy, a beautiful view & the AC worked wonderfully. Unfortunately i feel like i paid for amenities that were not available. When I booked (March 13th) it was listed with beach access & a pool. It was changed later on (April 28th) that those amenities were unavailable due to the hurricanes that hit previously. We didn’t know until we went back to the listing after arriving. the price that was paid, I feel, was too great for those not being accessible. Dishes had to be rewashed as they were dirty right out of the cabinets. The beach essentials seem to be not regularly checked as the only two things that weren’t broken were 2 camping chairs. There was no extra toilet tissue or paper towels as listed. Water pressure was very low. Sink did not drain properly. One pillow had blood on it. The one shower was dirty doors were broken and boyfriend had to fix. Dehumidifiers overflowing blinds broken. Unfortunately the worst condo I’ve stayed in.

The place was just okay. I was told prior to booking that we cohld bring 2 vehicles however upon arrival was told only one parking pass was available. Had to park the second vehicle somewhere else the first night until the found another parking pass reluctantly. Hot water takes about 20 minutes to warm up only to cutoff midshower where only cold water would work. Door keypad batteries died and customer service seemed confused about the code to the lock box with hard key. Elevator on far side of building was out of order so had to walk from one end of building to the other. Overall the AC worked and the view was great but they definitely have some issues to work out while under construction.

The condo itself was as listed in the pictures. The building on the other hand (Pirates Cove) was a complete disaster. Upon arrival, there was a paper on our door that water was going to be turned off due to plumbing for 4 hours in the morning 2 days later. Not necessarily a big deal but, it became a big deal when we had no hot water that Evening. I called maintenance 2 evenings in a row as I was trying to be patient but, There was No sense of urgency to fix the issue. The elevator outside of our door was out of order as 1 out of 3 elevators worked consistently, fitness center was gutted, and pool had all sorts of debris and not usable, no direct beach access due to that which we had to use the vehicle ramp entry ramp to access the beach. It would’ve been nice to know about these issues upon our arrival as these amenities were listed on the booking and is what I paid for but we’re not accessible. Lesson learned and I will be calling in advance from now on ti get what I paid for.

The most unrelaxing vacation ever

This was the most unrelaxing stay i have ever had and i have rented thru VRBO and Vacasa numerous times for the past 5 years. My 22 yr old daughter and i took an early flight into Orlando and drove the 1.20 to Daytona. Got into the condo wanting to take a well needed nap. We got in and found that there was roof construction on our side. We were on the top floor. No one warned us. I'm from NY, it sounded like a jackhammer above us. Went on until 5pm. The next morning it started at 7:30am. Same for friday. We went to the beach. 3 out of 4 beach chairs were broken. As much as the location was great. The place was so dated i would NEVER ever stay here again unless this changed. And I will be coming here the same time in to April for the next 2 years. Sad I couldnt recommend Kriata was very nice. . KRISTA

Daytona Beach Shores 2025

The check in process was pretty confusing. We were given 2 different, wrong, key codes and it was after 9pm, so we were tired, but the girl that finally answered the phone gave us yet another code that did open the door. Once Inside we were pleased. The rooms were comfortable and the view was awesome. They need to update some of the information on the vrbo app, like the pool and workout room were not available and the laundry room had one stack washer and dryer which was free to guest but very slow. Minor things but still annoying. All in all a good stay.

This was the cutest little place in Daytona and the views from both rooms were beautiful. However it's alot smaller than the pictures make it look. There was plenty of room in each bedroom but the the living room was tiny with just just a 3 seater couch and I would find it hard to make a meal for a family. The dinning area was decent and we were able to squeeze around the table to play cards which was nice. The bathroom that was in one of the rooms was nice but the shower was just a bit dirty and the the doors to close off the bedroom directly by the couch were broke, but our host was willing to send a team to take care of those right away which was super nice. We did let her know not to send anyone because it wasn't anything we had immediate concern to have taken care of and let her know we were just making her aware so that it could be taken care of before the next guests arrived. So while there were minor things that we wish we would have known, it was overall a great stay.

Short stay, perfect for what we needed

This condo was perfect for my family, and Mom as we passed through Daytona beach. We had plenty of room to spread out after being crammed in the car for 18+ hours. The views from the balconies were breathtaking. We did struggle at first to find our way on to the beach, but once we did it was a 3-5 minute walk. If our stay had been longer we would have made good use out of the beach chairs and other amenities that the host provides. The host was kind and easy to communicate with.

Our stay got off to a rocky start when we couldn’t get in due to the lock needing new batteries. Other than that, the place was fine and as pictured. We were just there for a wedding, so we didn’t spend a little if time in the unit. The living room and kitchen are small, so keep that in mind if you’re planning on cooking or just hanging out in the room. The bedrooms are a good size and each has its own balcony.

We had a great time! Great access to the beach, very quiet and peaceful and the location wasnt over populated with traffic. Hope was amazing at responding, the room was very clean, and not very many chores to do at the end of our stay which was a bonus! The only dislike was the balcony being split up with a cement wall, but we understand that is our host fault, just wish the pictures showed that, but that would not stop us from renting it again! We had a wonderful time and 10/10 recommend. It was an amazing trip and our hotel being this close to the beach was a big part of it! 😊

We had a great time! Great access to the beach, very quiet and peaceful and the location wasnt over populated with traffic. Hope was amazing at responding, the room was very clean, and not very many chores to do at the end of our stay which was a bonus! First of all, I would like to say that the Airbnb was very nice. I felt like it was definitely worth what I paid for some of the amenities in Airbnb just need to be updated but for the most part, it was worth what I paid for. The property itself needs to have some updates, but hope make sure the Airbnb was clean and well present it when me and my family arrived. Hope was very responsive whenever I needed something. The Beach view was the best part of the Airbnb very calming and relaxing will definitely book again.

The view was amazing, as was the communication with the owner. However, the photos seemed to be misleading when it comes to the size of the condo. The kitchen was very small (only one person could be in there at a time preparing meals) as was the living room. It was also difficult for the family to visit together with a wall separating the adjoining balconies off the bedrooms. The location was very convenient to shopping and restaurants, and the extra “little touches” were greatly appreciated.

Great Vacation

We enjoyed our time here on the beach. It is definitely worth the price for this place. The check in process was as simple as it gets and the unit was very clean on arrival. The host was very responsive to any questions I had. It is great accomodations for a family. Everything you need for a day on the beach is in the closet! The listing notes that the pool is closed, but doesn't make it clear that the pool would be your beach access. We had to exit the building through the front door and navigate our way around the building. Not a big deal for us, but I would imagine it would be more difficult to get there if you had smaller children and all of their things. The laundry facility is not super easy to find and you will need to bring a lot of quarters. The functional equipment in the "fitness area" consisted of a treadmill, an inversion table, and one dumbbell, so if you like to get your workout in on vacation I would advise making other plans. Overall I thought it was a great place to spend our vacation and definitely a great price for a unit with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

Great Rental

A little mislead/disappointed

The property managers had excellent communication and the condo was spotless. However, I was a bit disappointed or maybe felt mislead. I contacted the website before booking bc I was traveling with my 88 year old father who has mobility issues. I was assured he’d have no problem. The one handicapped ramp was too steep for him to navigate on his own and lacked handrails. Further, this unit is located on the complete opposite end of the building making for an extremely long walk for him. Once he made it to the room, it took much courage on his part to leave and come back again. Further, the listing says there is a washer and dryer. There is in the basement level and it’s coin operated. I believe this to be misleading also. It’s a very small unit, approximately 850 sq ft. The 2nd bedroom is almost part of the living room with only sliding slatted doors separating it from the living/dining area. That bedroom also lacks a closet. I don’t believe more than 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 small kids could be comfortable here. The cabinets in the kitchen are well stocked with dishes, pots, pans gadgets etc. it’s so well stocked that there isn’t any room to put your Someone put a lot of effort creating some very nice crochet pieces in the condo. The kitchen has every glass, mug, plate, pot or pan you could wish for. There just isn’t any place to put your cereal, chips, bread etc. The dual balconies are great as are the dual ac units.

Great stay in Daytona

We had a great stay at Pirates Cove, great condo, plenty of room, plenty of extras for cooking and baking. Very near tons of restaurants, close enough to the speedway. Love the beach. Great host.
