This Airbnb was the perfect choice for our work trip. The location was extremely convenient, just a short distance from the job site, which saved us a lot of commuting time. The place itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a productive stay. The host was responsive and made check-in/out easy. Would definitely stay here again for future work trips!

Eight dudes descend upon Daytona, for the 24hr race and we were greeted with an amazing home. This home is just fun. The beds were comfy, so many towels (just amazing how stocked it was), linens were clean and simply lovely. Kitchen was well stocked (we didn't cook, but it was talked about and when analyzed, it had good cookware. Good house for kids if you're looking for that. Lots of stuff for them to do in the garage area. The downstairs is it's own thing. One king, one single and a futon type sofa at the base of the king bed. There is another sofa in the ping pong area. It was comfy and could be used as a sleeping area if needed. Now, nit picking here. This isn't a make or break just info. WIFI is terrible. Main TV would just churn. Reception better in the garage by the booster. The rain shower in the downstairs. Needs to be changed. Water pressure in just this one is something. Again, these wouldn't change my mind at all. So, if you're looking into renting this home. DO IT.

We had a good stay overall. The beds were very comfortable, and when we arrived to find the pool overflowing, maintenance showed up within minutes and took care of it right away — great responsiveness.A few things could be improved. Even though we reserved the full property, we only received the access code for the top level initially. We had to reach out for the code to the lower level, and once we received it, the code worked on only one of the doors. Also, the beach chairs were padlocked. If this were a private home, we would have assumed they weren’t for guest use, but given that this is strictly a vacation rental, it was confusing why they weren’t accessible.Parking was available but not ideal. We had a pickup truck and a small SUV, and fitting both was a bit tight.

The house was very clean and conveniently located. It was a great layout for our group and the pool area was nice. Kitchen was well appointed. Communication from the manager was very good and check-in process was very easy. Parking is a little challenging with large vehicles. Would definitely book again when staying in Daytona Beach.

The house was perfect for our large group. 3 couples and 7 kids ages 1-9 years old. Beds for everyone, space to spread out and be together or have privacy. House definitely has its quirks and wear as an older home, but was very clean and spacious. I feel like the convenience to the beach was understated, it was such a short quick walk that running back to grab something was no big deal. We had the beach to ourselves almost the whole time. So many towels, even for our big group. Will definitely keep this on the list of future rentals!

Beach was a short walk across the street. You could see the Ocean from the upstairs windows. Beds were comfortable. The downstairs water pressure was not good but the two showers upstairs were good. Felt like the online description was accurate. We had 9 people from ages 14 to 86 and they all had a great time.

We had so much fun here! The space was perfect for what we needed with 10 people. The pool was amazing to have especially with little kids! The back 2 doors we couldn’t get the codes to work but we left them unlocked while we were home and that worked just as good!

Positive: Accommodation was perfect location for nascar race and touring about the area. Great value for money. Negative: While the accommodation was very clean and comfortable, the house was quite dated.

We chose this location because from the pictures it shows what I thought to be a hot tub. And in the listing it says that there is a soaking tub. However we got to the property and the heater for the pool and the hot tub is broken. After calling the host they informed me that it was just a Soaking Tub even though there is a sign that says hot tub rules on the fence. So when I was expecting a hot tub we got a tub that was 64 degrees which basically made one of the main amenities and the only reason I booked this place useless. The owner and the property managers offer to fix this was let us leave 2 days early and they would refund our money for the 2 days. Basically making the trip more inconvenienced, we chose to stay so we could leave an honest review. The property also needs general maintenance. The air conditioner in the downstairs area does not work very well so it's hot and musty in there. Door knobs in the house are loose, the TVs are very slow and don't work well and are small.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you were able to enjoy the location, and we appreciate the chance to address your concerns. We do want to clarify that our listing does not advertise a hot tub or a heated pool. The property features a soaking tub, which is unheated and intended for relaxation rather than hot water use. We understand how the sign on the fence and the photos could have caused some confusion, we have many random fun signs in the back of the house for decor. However, it was not advertised as being a heated pool or having a hot tub. As the description states, this is an older beachside house, and we are very clear in the listing that not everything will be perfect. The charm of the property comes with its age, and while we maintain it regularly, we know there are always small areas for improvement. Regarding the pool temperature, we realize this was disappointing, especially if you were hoping for a heated experience although it was never advertised as such. Our offer to refund two nights if you preferred to depart early was intended to give you flexibility so you could make the most of your trip, and we respect that you chose to stay. Thank you again for your comments — we’ll take them to heart as we continue to improve.

Our family stayed with another family for the weekend since our kids had a volleyball tournament at the Ocean Center. While we could have just stayed at a hotel we rented this house because of the game room and what we thought was a hot tub. We weren’t thrilled with the crazy high booking fee but thought it would be worth it. Well the arcade game didn’t work, there were no darts for the dart game and we were told after check in the hot tub was not a hot tub it was a soaking tub, insert eye roll. Don’t list pictures of things that don’t actually work. The house is fine but don’t book if you are looking to have those extra perks.

Let me start by saying that our stay was a week after Hurricane Milton went through. That said, I did call Monday morning just to confirm that the unit was still available and was checked after the storm went through - I was assured that it had been checked out and everything was good for our Friday arrival. The first problem was that the VRBO map from the app kept directing us to a street over from where the unit was. The rep I spoke to on the phone was extremely nice and gave us precise directions to the unit—it was literally two minutes away from where we were. The first real problem we had was not being able to get into the bottom half of the unit; one couple in our party had to sleep on the upstairs couches the first night. The second problem we had was the pool, and soaking spa were not usable; the pumps weren't working, and there was still debris (I am assuming from the storm) in the pool; essentially, the pool needed to be cleaned, and since the pump(s) weren't working the water was not being circulated - so not at all a usable option. All in all, it was okay. Everyone I dealt with from the company was very nice and did what they could. If it weren't for the storm or I were to stay again and any of the issues occurred, I would probably be asking for at least a partial refund. $2500 for the weekend and not having the unit 100% is pretty disappointing.

We had 6 in our group and the house worked out great for us. The place was clean and convenient. We were there for Jeep Beach and the location was perfect. You are across the street from beach access. The pool was great and it’s always fun when you can play some PAC-Man. By no means is the house perfect, but it is perfectly described in the description. There were 7 of our family members who stayed in this beach house for 8 days. We loved it! There was plenty of room everywhere in the house. The downstairs can be its own separate place which worked well for us because our daughter and her husband are newly married, so they had privacy when they wanted. The kitchen was fully furnished with everything we needed. There was even a full sized refrigerator in the garage/game room in addition to the one in the upstairs kitchen and the small one in the downstairs living area. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. There were plenty of towels, both for the bathrooms and the beach. There were hair dryers in each bathroom, and a TV in every room except the bedroom with the bunk beds. The closets had plenty of hangers, and each bedroom had plenty of dressers, etc for storage. The house was very nicely decorated. It was obvious that great care had been taken to add so many little things that made the house so cozy. Having our own private pool was amazing! The privacy fence made us feel like we were in our own little world. There are rafts for the pool as well as beach toys and chairs to take to the ocean, which was just across the street. It was nice to be able to check in over the phone and have a code to get in the house, rather than having to have a card or a key to get inside. The people at Salty Vacations were great to deal with. We would most definitely stay at this house again!

If you are a Florida native, you understand how Daytona Beach has deteriorated over the last decade.
If your expectations are that of exquisite luxury and world class experiences, you’re looking in the wrong part of Florida.
That said, this place was a breath of fresh air and one of the best experiences I’ve had in Daytona in recent years. The host team was overly communicative during the entire stay. We had our extended family and children and the space was plenty spacious and exceeded our needs and expectations.
Was everything perfect? No. But nothing is. So if you’re a Karen I’m sure you’ll find something to complain about. But if you’re looking for one of the best experiences Daytona Beach can offer you these days, look no further. We would book this place again.

I wont go though all the details however, we had a storm the week of our stay, the hot tub was not working properly and Salty Dog moved us to a WAY BETTER property within hours of us informing them. The new property that we were moved to is PALACE. I am keeping this simple on this review because what Salty Dog did for us was FANTASTIC...ALWAYS book your much needed getaway with Salty Dog Vacation Rentals. My wife is already looking to book the PALACE (Three Oars Beach Bungalow) for my birthday. It is a GREAT property, and the LOCATION is fantastic.

Stayed here over Christmas for 4 nights with extended family: 6 adults and 5 teenage kids. Checked in on Christmas Eve: codes we were given were wrong, but after 30 min on phone with Salty Dog we got in. Clearly no one had been over to get the place prepped for stay (owner too cheap to pay for service?). Everything that has a cord was unplugged: tv's in every room, router, microwave, everything. Once everything plugged in - no wifi internet so no TV. Spent an hour on phone at midnight on the night we checked in with no luck. Then reported problem again the next morning for them to file a report - so much for watching football on Christmas. Reported problem again the next morning and someone came out, but we never had television the whole time we were there. Fooseball table in basement, but missing a man and no ball. Cool full size video game in basement - but screen too light to play on it. Had to pay $200 a day if we wanted to heat the pool, so no swimming. So many options for things to do and none worked (except ping pong). Thought surely we would get a nice discount for not having TV our entire stay, but owner offered a 1/2 night stay. What an insult. Could have had a better stay at one of the many budget motels just down the street.

This property, while nice in photos, is poorly maintained inside and out: Maintenance just wasn’t performed on this house. We arrived to the stench of garbage and garbage on front of property. The pool and pool deck had not been cleaned: plastic bottles with dip saliva in them, dirty bandaids, beer cans, liquor bottles around pool deck. Management took no responsibility for the poor and unsanitary conditions. In addition, the beach access was impossible. We had to cross four busy lanes of North Atlantic Avenue (A1A), to walk down a crumbling boat ramp to a littered beach. It was depressing, honestly. This place simply isn’t as advertised. While management offered to send someone to fix all the indoor issues, no one in our party wanted to have maintenance workers in the house for our vacation. Did I mention the air return? The cover on it simply fell off and revealed an air filter that clearly hadn’t been changed in a year. Finally, broken glass on the floor of the unit cut my nephew.

If not within walking distance, the property was located right on the main drag which made it easy for driving or ride share pick up. And the beach was right across the street. Only knocks when it comes to the property was the water pressure, and it is tough to keep it perfectly clean as you’ll find in most oceanfront beach towns. The management was great, super responsive, and making sure we were all set with everything we needed.

Leaking a/c soaked bedroom floor, trash & insulation in front yard. Hot tub didn’t work but for a couple hours whole time didn’t seem to care, kept blaming it on us touching panel. Upstairs and downstairs don’t connect you have to go outside to access, salty dog staff very rude & inconsiderate. Would not recommend! Very disappointed in Salty dog and this beach house! Do better Salty dog!

I planned a trip for me & my boyfriend’s birthday with some family & friends, there was a group of 9 of us & the house was everything we were looking for! There was a perfect amount of space for everyone, the backyard was relaxing, great location to walk to the beach, and we really enjoyed the garage/ game room! Visited for 2022 Turkey run..Great location. kitchen and living area are very nice, the rest is outdated but very roomy for all 8 of us, had everything we needed. The a/c works great and ceiling fans in all the rooms is a plus. Publix is just down the road. The ping pong table in the garage was a hit with my family. Sadly the arcade game was not working properly, and we couldn’t enjoy the pool as the heater pump wasn’t working. I would have preferred to have curtains on kitchen window that looks directly into neighbors front porch, otherwise it felt safe. Parking is tight, but we were able to fit 4 cars, without sticking out on sidewalk. Sally was nice to let us use the garage for truck. Beach access right across the house. We had a great time, thank you..

We rented the upstairs and downstairs unit the downstairs unit was unlivable due to the air conditioning rattling all night we called the property manager to fix it but they weren’t able to fix it we were never compensated for the loss of that unit the property manager there did not do a great job of taking care of a bad situation

Excellent property, excellent location. Plenty of room for multiple guests. The description doesn’t list them, but there are several tv”s with Roku, and a washer and dryer available. We loved that there were beach toys, towels, and chairs available to use. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall the place was very clean and the space was a great deal for the price! The back yard area with the pool was well kept and very nice and the pool itself was awesome! There are lots of beds and sleeping arrangements and the rooms were pretty big and had lots of space! The beach is right across from the street and there is a lot of things to do very close to where we stayed! There is only room for two cars to park and getting in and out could be alittle tricky if traffic was heavier but other than that the property was very nice!

Overall the place was very clean and the space was a great deal for the price! The back yard area with the pool was well kept and very nice and the pool itself was awesome! This place has a lot of protentional and is in a great location! The hosts were very proactive with their communication and touched base along the way. However, we did have some problems that went unresolved. The main one was the hot tub not working. While Salty certainly staid in contact with us about the issue there was never any movement on the matter. No one even stopped by to check it out. Furthermore, the pool was less than half way full when we arrived and we had to fill it up. I get that things happen, but I was very nice about everything during my stay, but certainly disappointed when nothing was done to resolve the problem. There were a few other minor things but all in all we chose this place because of the hot tub, pool, and location and they only had one of those when we arrived. All in all we wont be staying with Salty again.

This property was so much fun for a large family and friends. There is a pool in the back and a game room in the basement. It was clean and comfortable and close to everything. It's an old house which has been remodeled and updated nicely. We wish we could've stayed longer.

The cleaning person wasnt out of the house until around 4:30. There was a toilet hooked up in the garage right next to the ping pong table which was unusable but was full of some kind of sewage that made the downstairs area have a bit of an odor. The pool was very murky as well. The location was great though and the upstairs was clean and looked great overall as well.

Our family enjoyed this home for a quick weekend getaway. The downstairs apartment with access to the entertainment space in the garage was perfect for their late nights. The addition of pool was a nice surprise and very relaxing in the evenings. This location provides quick access to the beach but you must be extremely cautious when crossing the busy 4 lane roadway. Great value for a beach weekend with a big group!

Really enjoyed our time at Three Oars. It’s charming, spacious, and has a great location. Check-in was a little time consuming as there was a miscommunication with the cleaning staff. Place was clean. It has everything you need for the beach; chairs, towels, toys, etc. Big plus was the private pool and hot tub. Turning the hot tub on and off was a little weird, as you have to text the owner. Downstairs (where our boys stayed) had a ping pong table and arcade cabinet, which was a big hit. Definitely looking forward to our next stay

Our stay was amazing, until the 4th day when the pool guy came very early in the morning and serviced the pool. We could not use the pool for the rest of our stay, and one of the owners came by unannounced. We had not left yet, so we had not cleaned up the house entirely. We would never leave the house in a mess, and we most very did not, but having someone interrupt our stay to tell us to clean up was unnecessary. We had not broken a single thing or had a single complaint. We gave them no reason to show up unannounced. If the pool service had be scheduled ahead of time, then we should have received a notice about this prior to the day of. Other than this the house was amazing, and is in an amazing spot! I’d definitely recommend them to my friends, but I would warn them about having people show up unannounced.

There was some confusion and this home was double booked and occupied when we arrived. The rental company found us other accomodations very quickly and upgraded us. They turned what could have been a terrible experience into a wonderful time at the beach. Highly recommend Salty.

Nice house for larger families or groups. Very clean, beach access road right across the street. A few items needed to be updated but overall a nice place and location.
