Tropical Vibes Bungalow w/ Pool

Salty was very responsive and had great communication before, during, and at the conclusion of our stay. The location is as described in the listing - a quiet residential community with a short walk to the beach. The house and pool were fairly nice. The only downside was that there were a few things that needed maintenance attention. Salty was quick to respond to the issues and provide solutions, but there were enough things that came up that made it seem like some more attention could be paid to the condition of the property between guest stays. If this was corrected, I'd rate it 5/5.

It was a great vacation for us. The house is located very close to the beach and was very clean. All was great except the sliding backdoor was broken and there was a wooden log to function as a stopper. Overall the house is in safe neighborhood and our pet also accompanied us on the trip. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had.

The neighborhood was quiet. Great place to relax. Things we noticed and addressed to them was addressed immediately. The only issue we had the cleaning lady was there as we pulled in to check it out and my husband told her we were just checking it out...she was rude. Ormond is a wonderful quiet little beach town without the insanity of crowds and noise. Cute little cottage. Only negative was the A/C has a mind of its own, didn’t matter what temp was set, very limited access to outlets and backyard needed a haircut. Salty was very attentive and communicated regularly as anything needed attention. We travel extensively and would probably stay again.

great little spot close to everything. has everything you need. But place is overwhelmed with palmetto bugs aka " cockrouchs" this was disappointing we had to quarantine all our luggage when we returned home and make sure we didn't have any hitchhikers. they also don't tell you about outside camera in back yard which gives you no privacy my wife was uncomfortable not knowing who could be watching while we were trying to enjoy the pool.

We wish we had known during your stay, as we would have gladly sent our pest control team right away to address the issue and ensure your comfort. About the camera, this is an outdoor security camera located in the backyard area, which is disclosed in the property listing. It is there solely for security purposes and is not actively monitored in a way that would compromise guest privacy. We’re sorry to hear it made your wife uncomfortable, and we will review the listing description to make sure the information is clear and easy to find. We enjoyed our stay here, the house looked just like the photos. Easy walk to the beach. Place had beach chairs, umbrella and toys which was awesome so we didn't have to bring our own. Unfortunately the pool was not heated (which we knew) so was too cold for us to enjoy but was a great area.

This was our 3rd time staying in this house and it never disappoints. It’s clean, well stocked, has a fence which is great when you’re traveling with pets and it’s only 1/2 mile from Publix and public beach access. Would definitely recommend!

This place is amazing!!! Perfect dog friendly home with a completely fenced in back yard and a nice pool to cool off in the hot afternoons. Everything was exactly as pictured, the linens, kitchen, and bathroom were spotless and it was great to have the beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. to use anytime. The only minor disturbance was when the pool guy arrived unannounced (he was supposed to notify the hosts) and my dogs were in the yard. We were startled so naturally they barked a lot but luckily they are super friendly so nothing happened. Other than that everything was perfect! Would definitely recommend this place and come back if we’re ever back in the area!

We enjoyed our stay at salty dog! The location was perfect, great neighborhood and we loved being able to have a short walk to the beach. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We loved having a yard for our dog to enjoy as well. We had one small issue during our stay and the host was very understanding and was very quick to reply to our concerns and we appreciated that. Overall I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone looking for a cozy place close to the beach!

We enjoyed our stay at salty dog! The location was perfect, great neighborhood and we loved being able to have a short walk to the beach.

Previously living in Florida, this house was perfect for a vacation back in town for me and my mom. Having the pool was great and it was very clean from day one. I only had one issue and that was when I first got to the home, the code that I was given did not work to enter the house. Once I called, I was give a new code tho. I did learn that staying in a 'pet friendly' home, comes with that puppy smell / left over fur around. With having allergies, I learned my lesson, but was very clean otherwise. Plenty of linen and towels. Washer and dryer are in great condition. 5 minute walk to the beach (entrance at the park) and very quiet and private! Will highly recommend!

The house was exactly as pictured. It was clean and spacious, everything looked brand new. The only downside was a small bathroom but not a problem for my husband and I. The pool was great but the weather was too cold to use. There was beach chairs to use. The beach is within a 5 min. walk across the street. The neighborhood is very quiet, walkable with my dog and the neighbors are very friendly. It is within in 10 mins drive to downtown Daytona. There is alot of shopping and restaurants within 10 minutes. I would definitely stay here again.

We were traveling from SC to the Keys and used this as a stopover for about 4 nights to break up the trip and it was absolutely perfect! We had our two goldendoodles with us and it was so convenient to have a fenced in back yard. The home was just as advertised - super clean, cozy, and pretty well stocked. If you plan to cook, they were a little short on baking pans, but had everything else we needed. The pool was not heated so a little chilly in January but still nice to have. The location was perfect also. In a quiet neighborhood just across the street from the beach, Publix was just 2 blocks away and you are close to about anything you need. There are several parks and public beaches within a mile - the closest public beach entrance we used was just across from the Publix. The entire process was super easy and everyone was great to work with. We loved it so much we actually booked it again for our return trip home!

This was so perfect. Private. Quiet. Clean and so pretty. It's is equipped with fine plates, wine and other lovely glass ware. All basic cooking utensils. More than enough fluffy towels. The pool was very clean being uncovered and totally private with lovely landscaping and a beachy vibe. The AC indoors worked well. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Nice ammenities of their Salty Dog shampoos, various soaps (dish and laundry too). Extra blankets if needed. The main bedroom had a high mount king bed, had to crawl up to get in. I liked it but if you're short and frail, it could be a challenge to get in and out of it. The bathroom really nicely done with the best walk-in shower. The toilet is a small round bowl and low profile. There is a hose beside the carport so no excuse to track excess sand inside. The price isn't bad until the cleaning fees and taxes are added then it feels like a lot. But it was worth it!! Hosts SUPER responsive, even at 3 AM! Super happy!!
